  1. people really just have nothing better to do this summer than to call an all star overrated

  2. The whole Kings team, not just Sabonis, should take this for what it is: blatant disrespect. This, and that ESPN team ranking garbage should fire them up real well.

You know Mike Brown will be keeping receipts. Fair enough: no one is going to hand these Kings anything, they will go out, prove all these “experts” wrong and take what is theirs. Time to level up, bring this season on!

  3. IMO this is a decent list of UNDER-rated players – it's open season on guys like Sabonis, DeRozan etc., because writers either don't understand or don't appreciate what these guys actually bring to the table.

Meanwhile, the players who are actually overrated aren't going to be on these lists, because they're protected by reputations that are either unearned or no longer reflective of present-day reality: guys like KAT, Draymond, Paul George. And if somebody took a really deep dive, maybe those aren't THE three guys – but these are examples of guys who get a huge pass for major shortcomings.

E.g. how many writers & podcasters are talking about how the Warriors looked doomed in the first round until Draymond got suspended, or how the T-Wolves have a .448 record with KAT in the lineup (leaving out when he's hurt) despite having played alongside FIVE other 20+ ppg guys, or how Paul George hasn't had a net positive rating in the postseason since the 2016 playoffs? These things barely come up. But we hear all about how Sabonis's scoring dropped from 19.1 to 16.4.

  4. How about the guy from New Orleans who only plays 20 games a year and is being paid a super-MAX contract.
