Jason Terry straight up got into LeBron's head in that series. That's a fact. And even though Im not a LeBron fan I really dont like to see an opponent make it that personal especially in a playoff setting but that's just what Jason Terry did and it worked. Plus he had some great runs himself and games in that series. But Dirk was killer. A true mid range assassin ala MJ honestly. He was a bad man in that whole playoff run.
Shawn needs to stop with the cap. The 2011 Mavs were not better than the 2011 Heat. The Heat went on on to win the next 2 titles back to back. Lebron just choked.
I used to be at breakfast early at jr. College, and Shawn used to come and sit with me. Id see him around in the gym and he would stop and shoot with me for a minute. Great humble guy hes fired up here though. Went to some of his games he was amazing to watch flying over people in juco.

As a lakers fan that was a hard L to take from the Mavs. They were a great TEAM well balanced and coached from starting 5 to last gus on the bench. Miami had their big 3 talent but Mavs were the better team they deserved thar championship and way more credit than just saying LeBron lost.

That 2011 Mavs team will always hold a special place in my heart.
A huge part of that championship run for Dallas was Tyson Chandler who would have been in OKC had their team doctor not failed him for his physical because of foot issues. You put Chandler on that OKC team and they would have been a holy hell to deal with and there's no way Dallas beats them. The Thunder would have won that championship and several more and most likely not have traded Harden. They could have won 4 or 5. True story….look it up.
