What are Nigeria's prospects in the World Cup, and the Olympics next year? IIRC, Giannis has never played for ANY country in international competition (please correct me if that's wrong). Doesn't he have dual Nigerian citizenship through his parents, and could play for Team Nigeria in next year's Olympics? That would presumably be a controversial move for him to make in Greece though…….

This goes all the way back to the double overextension he suffered in 2021. Instead of getting his knee fixed, he played through the pain to win the Championship. He must now take all the necessary time and medical care. To do otherwise could be to jeopardize the rest of his career.
