Uncoachable. No wonder he fouls out so much.

  2. aiden3buckets

I think there’s a middle ground you can reach Mr. Jackson Jr.

  3. xerxesthagreat

this title makes it seem like it’s back and forth dialogue

  4. Wolvesin7

JJJ sometimes has the KAT syndrome except for defensive fouls instead of offensive fouls.

  5. Obvious_Parsley3238

JJJ after fouling out in 20 minutes again (maximum greatness)

  6. Ok_Caregiver3923

lol i don’t think i’ve ever heard someone say “do you want me to be great or not”

the arrogance is just off the scales

  7. unknownintime

Reminds me of San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford who would constantly make errors from being too aggressive because for his confidence he “believed I could make every throw.”

But his Hall of Fame coach Bruce Bochy taught him that in winning the margins are so thin, sometimes it’s the throws you *don’t* make.

Nothing will keep him from getting pictures of spider man

  9. That’s wild that quote is there context or he actually said that??? It’s insane MJ was never like this to the media about other coaches or teammates lmao

  10. Where’s the Grizzlies scorekeeper when you really need him? Could help keep Jackson’s fouls number down.

“Jackson, though, remains unbothered by the trend [of racking up fouls]. He says the Grizzlies coaches share that stance. “They don’t care either. Trust me, they don’t. They’re not worried about it all,” Jackson said. The Grizzlies want their backline beast hunting for prey at all times.”

The Grizzlies coaching staff just sound like a bunch of enablers at this point. Surprised they aren’t trying to teach him to play smarter.

    >“Coach Kerr is using his system. It’s just more or less what Draymond [Green] would have ran or [Kevon] Looney, and just with better players,” Jackson said. “A lot of delay actions and stuff like that.”

hm… i wonder if this quote will turn into anything exciting!

  13. JJJ is always read as J. Jonah Jameson to me.

Kerr hears that JJJ quote and knows the Grizz will never get past the second round… kid needs to mature his approach and stop fu-king around with all the nonsense foul trouble. Just cuz he won a soft field DPOY doesn’t mean there isn’t real advice to be taken thar can make him alot better.

  15. How about you pipe down and listen to a 9x champ trying to help you who’s been through more than you can imagine?

  16. Grizz coaching staff has a valid approach, we see how well it works and it’s not like he’s committing 5 fouls a game. Not all of them are cause of rim protecting too. Kerr’s also in the right especially for FIBA, that one foul cut down can really be an issue.

  17. kerblamophobe

NBA dudes have to realize that FIBA foul out is just 5 fouls. Jordan Clarkson learned that the hard way for us during the game vs the Dominican Rep.

  18. You also bring less rim protection when you average 4 fouls a game and have to be taken out because you get 2 in the first quarter

Edit: JJJ averaged the least minutes out of any all-star per game, averages 4 fouls a game. He’s clearly still young and still developing.

Hmm not trying to block everything is the next step uber athletic bigs take to become more disciplined defenders

Just like a game of basketball, these comments got me on the edge of my seat! 🏀😂

  21. eveystevey

Glass houses Mr Kerr, glass houses. Maybe if you had some effect on Draymond you can lecture others

  22. Wavepops

Nah just don’t get stupid fouls JJJ it’s really not even that nuanced. But whatever it’s not like he isn’t a great player anyways

  23. playmaykr7

Availability is an attribute – cannot be a “great” player if your minutes are wasted on the bench

  24. Steve Kerr is just jedi mindtricking JJJ for the season. well played.
