Did The Warriors Make A Mistake?

Today we’re going to be talking about what the Chris Paul trade means for the Golden State Warriors. After a disappointing season and early playoff exit, the warriors were clearly ready to move in a different direction in order to maximize their core of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins. They would end up trading their rising talent Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards for aging point guard Chris Paul. A move that many fans were confused by at the time. Leaving many to question, did they really make the right move? If you guys enjoyed this video, be sure to hit the like button and slap the sub button with your nose (also the bell).

  1. If cp3 agrees to come off the bench and be the 6th man we need him to be , not only will it unlock jk and moody but him also playing with saric as well will go long ways for us

  2. Warriors did it!! 👍👏🔥🔥❤️❤️

The combination of CP 3, TJD, JK and Dario Saric is exactly what is needed for Warriors, mainly for the non-Steph minutes. If they manage to win those or at least not lose them too heavily, they're in really good shape!! 🙏🙏👍👏

  3. Next to JK, TJD and Moody, Warriors signing only players who fit their culture and can be used in Steve Kerr's system immediately is a brilliant move, BUT it does mean they have to be VERY selective.

One disruptor can ruin it all…

    REALLY EXPECTING A LOT!! 👍👏🤩🤩

  4. I think I saw an interview with Paul who said that he wasn’t gonna come off the bench. If he does it will probably be an alright trade but I have no clue.

  5. Re: are they a championship team?

As long as Steph is playing at GOAT-like level, CP 3 accepts the role he's cut out for in this team and they're all healthy AND PRESENT for play-offs, they'll ALWAYS have a shot!

    NBA CHAMPS 2024 👍👏🥳🥳🔥🔥

  6. Forgot to mention it in the video but.. 100,000???? ARE YOU GUYS INSANE?
I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am, you guys have completely changed my life for the better, I know that I have a part in that but at the end of the day my efforts can only do so much, the rest is thanks to you

  7. I dont think STARTING LINEUPS will be what matters.

It will be the FINISHING LINE-UP.

  8. With that Spanish pick n roll, Klay gonna beat his 3rd quarter record and will need less dribbles while doing it! 👍👏🔥🔥

  9. If the Warriors can bottle last years starting 5 production and simply break even with the reserves they become a different animal and the same beast.

  10. rick celebrini is a god. Also he won't be able 30+ minutres every night as a starter nor will he be playing near 70 games. We can likely get 65 games out of him with planned rest in between games. Limiting back to backs and such.

  11. in my mind, there's no way that cp3 doesn't lead the second unit. but i could see a scenario where he starts, plays the first six minutes or so, and then slots into that leader of the second unit role from there. who they close games with is the more interesting conundrum.

  12. Ik there's a lot of questions with this. Hes 100 years old, he's a small guard on a small team, he not the same, etc… But, I'm looking at the positive here. Hes still one of the greatest players and point guards all time. With CP we immediately improve turnover wise because CP and Cory Joseph are one of the best assist to turnovers ratio guys ever. Not to mention CP helps us a lot Offensively from last year. We're not going to have bone head turnovers in the half court, he gives another playmaker so Klay doesn't have to handle the ball a lot this year because of CP, CJ, and Dario Saric, and hopefully this will force the Warriors FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TO RUN MORE HIGH SCREEN PICK AND ROLL with Steph and CP. Not to mention I think his scoring and shooting will be 10x better than last year now that he's playing with Steph, Klay, Dray, and Wiggs.

  13. All I’m saying if Steph manages to get CP a ring after all these years… 👀👀 boy best believe imma let the people know about it

  14. I don’t think they made a mistake if he comes off the bench; due to the sheer amount of times JP fumbled in crunch time ALL of last year

  15. The only contribution I see CP3 giving to the Warriors is making Kuminga and GP2 a bit better. He’ll be a liability on a defense, and injury prone in the playoffs.

  16. I was disappointed that Warriors chose Chris Paul. They should of went with someone younger and much bigger. One thing warriors team lacks is heavy weight players the only one being Looney. I think CP3 will bring maturity and better plays but I still think it was a weak choice…

  17. Yes, the Warriors have made mistakes. Every team makes mistakes.
Replacing high-turnover/low assist Jordan Poole with high-assist/low turnover Chris Paul for the second team is an improvement, Especially how Jordan’s numbers fell after he got paid while falling out of the good graces of his own team. Replacing him with a player who is hungry, still elite, and is less likely to trip himself… that’s a good move.

  18. cp3 spamming p&r with kuminga sounds great on paper but then you remember that kerr hates p&r
