For all his faults, Simmons was a really good player. And Philly were a better team with him instead of Harden, despite Embiid being better now.
To think Damian Lillard once played on the Blazers team that was a top 5 team in the NBA alongside Wesley Matthews, Nic Batum, LaMarcus Aldridge, & Robin Lopez. They broke them up and decided to build just around Damian Lillard which never worked as they never put good talent around him. Even Blazers fans can't be mad at him wanting to leave. The front office has failed him.
So he had 7, 6 and 6 last year – I guess in limited period, still not too shabby.
If he can up that to 12, 10 and 10 then that will be GREAT for the Nets.
