I’d much rather just cut him. I wonder what player we could even get. Wouldn’t mind a Tim Hardaway Jr, though. I don’t mind the part about giving up 2nd rounders because this team already has too many young players it needs to develop anyway.
The picks don’t really matter, if we find a warm boy that can play spot mins at the end of the bench then it’s a win.
Just cut him and give KPJ’s minutes to Amen and Cam…damn. Stop giving away 2nd round draft picks like candy.

i don’t get why there’s so many people in every thread about this commenting about doing something different than what the FO is trying to do. are yall dumb? why cut him? so we can develop Amen and Cam? we’re not tanking this season so why focus on developing rookies instead of making it into the play-in? it’s not like they won’t develop at all if we get a more tenured guy.
it’s a win-win if we trade KPJ+**2nd round** picks for pretty much anybody that doesn’t log jam development. we’re still so young that any experience added will be good for the team.
if we cut KPJ, there’s like no free agent to go after that hasn’t already been passed on by the FO. it only benefits Fertitta’s pocket book to let the NBA suspend KPJ
I said this in another post but KPJ and two 2nds (24 GSW which is top 56 protected and 26 MIN unprotected) for Delon Wright. I’d be a very happy camper.
