I saw him live in G-League against Agua Caliente last year and was impressed. 7 footer. Blocks shots, rebounds, runs the court, finishes at the rim. Seems to be a willing screener. One of the top players in the G-League last year, for Sacramento, finishing as runner-up for MVP. Had 38 pts and 18 rebs vs Santa Cruz and Wiseman. Really intriguing young player. I wouldn’t mind him on a 2-way and competing for a spot, or do you think that door closed with the signing of Garuba? I’m hoping we get him.

Stash him in Santa Cruz in case the Garuba experiment doesn’t pan out.

TWC, yes. Roster, no, at least not unless he proves himself in the G League plus limited NBA minutes as a TWC. I like him as a Center prospect. Garuba is really more of a PF, with the plus of strong perimeter defense but the weakness of a 6’8″ frame (7’2″ WS). Queta is 7’0″ (7’4″ WS). Given the odds of success for SRPs and late FRPs, we’d be lucky to get one solid big man out of Garuba + Queta + TJD.
