> Absolutely, positively, unbelievably thrilled/stoked/psyched — and if there are any adjectives stronger than those, just insert them all! — to be joining the fantastic staff at The @Ringer. I’ve been an unabashed fan since its inception. Can’t wait to get started!

Good for him and the Ringer. It’ll be nice to have him on with Bill and hopefully Mahoney to get some quality basketball talk. Bills always best when he’s not the smartest basketball guy in the room, he actually does his research lol

  2. Big quality boost for The Ringer. Their basketball scholarship has been pretty terrible in my opinion so having a guy with actual experience is great.

The Ringers main NBA podcast feed is mostly garbage, so maybe this will make is listenable.

Lowe Post guest lineup continues to suffer

Howard beck has been bouncing around jobs for the last half decade. Bill got him for pennies on the dollar

Can’t wait to hear him on the hottest props, lines, over/unders of the week and long term bets!

  7. I just dislike how 90% of Zach Lowe’s guests are ESPN journalists/media heads. They’re honestly the worst people because a huge amount of it is just self aggrandizing. “Well, when I WAS DOING THIS // I KNOW THIS INFORMATION // WHAT I SAID BACK THEN” like… cool. They’re just circle jerking themselves.

Really sucks because I like Zach Lowe a lot, but I consume 99% less of his content because ESPN paywalled his articles and his podcast guests are terrible most of the time.

Probably my favourite NBA media personality.

It’s a shame he will have to pod with fkn Wos

  9. Still find it interesting that Lowe didn’t go over with Bill after Grantland died. ESPN must’ve paid him way, way more than Bill ever could’ve offered.

In a perfect world, Lowe followed Bill to the ringer and they have a weekly podcast together. I miss their discussions

not really surprising seeing how ESPN may lose the rights to NFL and the NBA in 2025 people are jumping ship, the early birds will get the best jobs.
