The Kings can be good again. But I gotta see it first. I like the squad but the West looks tougher this year. All the Cali teams could end up top 5 in the playoffs.
Everyone said teams would “be ready” after ASB… Said Kings would fall flat. It was a fluke. Lmao
As for staying in Houston, almost no one on the Kings is really the type to go party. Huerter a bit maybe and few others but most of them just stay in and play videogames lol. I think Sac likes “high character” guys. But a good point nonetheless
Domas avg 11 rebounds in playoffs. 12 regular season. Right where he should have been. Look at the wings… HB was AWFUL not just shooting but rebounding (after having a career high in rebounds the season prior). Fox actually stepped up rebounding more than the wings probably. Kings are a team that MUST rebound by committee as Mike Brown says. We weren’t boxing out. Weren’t crashing the boards. Most of the rebound issues absolutely were not on Domas. Certainly not solely.
Backup bigs will be nice too but Len had amazing defensive stats so we will see if Noel/Neemy/Skal can make the roster
IDK if sasha is the real deal but he's not the next Jokic. Or Dirk. He plays somewhat like peja stojakovic used to. Move without the ball, 3 point sniper, crafty around the rim type. Sounds like he will take Metus minutes. He will probably split some with Lyles and Barnes to keep them fresh for a playoff run. As Barnes played all 82 last season. Which is great but we need him to save a little in the tank.
Ya Houston is interesting to me. As is OKC. I think this year might be a transition of power year for the NBA to some younger teams. Not sure if LAL and GS and LAC will be continuing their dynasties. SAC and DEN will for sure have big targets on them as they are in their prime. It's now or never with about a 4 year window for those types.
