It's funny that they think us Celtics fans care what anyone else thinks. We know. We're never as good as we think we are? How many conference finals have we been to in the last few years? Give me a break. One of the two to four best teams consistently every year but we are never as good as we think we are, I guess. I can't wait for our guys to prove the doubters wrong, the way they've been doing the whole time.
The expectations & pressure for this year’s team is SUPER HIGH, its at the same level as the 07-08 team. I just hope that they take it one game at a time & ignore the outside noise !!
The celtics have been helbent on winning since BRAD STEVENS TOOK OVER AS GM. He has pulled every trigger that us die hard Celtics fans have BEGGED management to pull for years.
I guarantee if Brad was GM years ago AD would've been a Celtic. My own opinion

We lost to Miami because Mr. Gabe Vincent was conveniently laying on the floor when Tatum landed with his ankle on him, in the first offensive play by the Celtics, on game 7. That said, I sure hope Tatum & Brown stop schmoozing with other star players like Durant, Kyrie, Jimmy Butler, AD and LeBum after games or on All Star weekend. They're all snakes, has-beens, and we should know better. From other teams, I only respect Giannis, Anthony Edwards and Jokic. All others stars have an agenda and is always me, me, me, me.

Giving a 34yo dude that has no experience the keys to coach your team and see if he is enough to win in a league that you haven't been able to win your 2nd championship in half a century doesn't really say you're going all in. It's like giving a 16 year old kid keys to a Ferrari (that you finally got and will only have for 1 to 2 races) to see if he can win in a track race against experienced pros. 🤔
I don't remember the Heat being the slightest bit humble when they contrived to make their Big 3. Moreover, it's never even held against them that they didn't even come close to matching their prediction.

The Boston Celtics have been the Golden State Warriors during their championship runs in terms of talent for the last 3-4 years, but without the hardware. The window of opportunity is closing in for the Celtics real fast before the implosion happens…10, 9, 8..💣💥
I don't understand why they keep getting compared to the 2008 Celtics? The 08 Cs , Pierce was in his early 30s coming off being a bottom tier team not.making the playoffs and they brought in a previous league MVP and great shooter. Compared to this team having two young superstars just entering their prime and bringing in good players but porzinga and holiday aren't on Garnett and Ray Allen's level. This reminds me more of the Gordon Hayward and Kyrie off season, which we all know how that turned out.
Now all the C's need is the killer attitude. Stop picking opposing players off the court. They are the enemy and need to be treated as such. You would never see KG or Bird doing that shit.
