I don't know why so many people are acting as if Bruce Brown and Jeff Green were the Nuggets 2nd and 3rd best players. They have their entire starting five all in their primes, Braun and Watson are set to break out, and the 3 rookies are all 40% 3pt shooters who played several years in college so they are older, more experienced, and more NBA ready than most rookies.
Simple thing here: every Nuggets starter and primary bench players are relatively young and ascending in their skills. KD, Lebron, AD, most of the Warriors are definitely on the “Western slope” of their careers. To think otherwise is sheer fantasy
