Heavier minutes from Hayes, Sasser, Wiseman, and Bagley for sure are required.
Would not be mad if Cade didn't play 1 of the last 2 preseason games. Makes no sense to play him back2back. He appears fully recovered from the surgery. Maybe play him 18-24 minutes Thursday & rest the last game. Makes no sense to put additional wear/minutes on him for no reason
Its preseason they will have the whole season to play together this is not a playoff team we about a year away so its no need to play players like Cade both of the last 2 preseason games

I just watched Steph Curry, Chris Paul and Klay Thompson play for 30+ minutes in a preseason game so honestly I’d expect year 3 Cade to be out on the floor getting some burn then taking that rhythm into the season #noexcuses
Cade has played less than a full season worth a games he still considered a rookie in my eyes. If Jaden Ivey playin every game I don’t see why he getting games off.

1. I think we should play our guys. If we looking to win, we’re going to have to find a way to hit the ground running at the beginning of the season. We’ve got to figure out how not to start games so slow. Guys have to be on the same page with the coaches and one another. For to happen, our guys have to play.
2. Can we be average defensive team? Yes. Ausar, Duren, Beef, and Cade are potentially above average to average defenders. Kill is easily above average on defense and Monty and his staff will have schemes to fix the gaps. I’m a strong believer in Ivey’s hunger for greatness. I believe we will see more focus from him on defense or we’ll see Les of him. Bags & Wise have their feet to the fire so they’ll defend or sit. I think they will be greater accountability from the players on one another.
3. Worst roster in the league? Lazy analysis based on last season’s injury plagued intentional plan to tank. Cade was drawing triple teams from opposing teams in his rookie year. Duren (along with Cade) dominated the USA basketball team. Bogey had one of his best shooting seasons last year and he’s a career sniper. Ausar is already turning heads and we’ve got an explosive Jaden Ivey off the bench. There’s no way we have the worst roster.

You all are mentally tainted with the desire to improve drastically in defense and willing to trade or just kick to the curb one of our best defenders in Killian Hayes in favor of a better offensive player.
If you’re scared of jury in the preseason, you’ll be scared in the regular season and you’ll never make it to the playoffs playing scared.
I don't think is the worst roster but there's a perception they will not do well cause last season record or the 1st quarter against the Suns. The PG position is one of the best in the conference with Cade, Morris, and any of the other guards. SG is solid with Ivey, Burks, and Harris. SF improved with drafting Ausar, Bogdanovic, and Livers. PF and C need improvement behind Duren and Stewart, so Bagley and Wise need to show health and consistency. This roster is way better than last season and addressed many of its weaknesses first with Coaching, Cade healthy, Ivey and Duren got better, 3pt shooting, Ausar at SF, Bagley and Wise put the work in the off season. Nah that last take is WILD Ku. I got LaMelo, Anfranee Simons, Jordan Poole, and possibly DeAndre Ayton better than Cade this season. Cade is coming back from Injury and he's not a guy who's gonna take like 20-25 shots a night either so how much is he gonna really score? His passing and defense is virtually the same compared to all of those guys so that's not even in the conversation.

Our team is young and needs a lot of rep and practice to be good offensively and defensively.. let wiseman score the ball like joel embid. He,,'d be our mvp

Ku, you are not analyzing this defense correctly. Some of us have mentioned this to you multiple times, THIS TEAM WAS TANKING AFTER CADE WENT DOWN!!!! It was the right thing to do because they were taking a shot at VW. Ku, when the players know their organization wants to tank, and they knew this, they aren't dumb, they will never purposely just miss shots and hurt their personal shooting numbers, but what will tank is their team defensive spirit and desire. Team defense is the very first thing that would fall because defense is the har-work part of NBA ball. There is no way this team will be even close to as bad defensively as they were last season. You are talking g the difference between players knowing their organization actually wants to lose and knowing they want to compete and win. Defense will be the main this that is effected. Ku, they tanked as soon as Cade went down. You will see much more spirited defense this year.
