Couldn’t he have learned about Brook’s strengths from tape? Watch him 2 minutes and know he’s big and tall and the slowest player in the league… should have him in the paint and not trying to guard point guards at the 3 point line.

I don’t have a clip, but coach griff also just mentioned during the live interview mid game that sometimes the players know better than the coaches and he now has brook playing in more of a drop this game.

Seems like brook playing the drop worked well this game (not a shocker). I know everyone in this sub loves to overreact to everything, but personally I’m glad to have a coach who is experimenting with different philosophies and lineups. Bud’s inability to be flexible is kind of the reason everyone here shat on him… seems like people are now hating on Griff for doing the very thing that they wanted bud to do
