Julius Randle recorded 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists for the Knicks, while Jalen Brunson (24 points and 8 assists) and Immanuel Quickley (20 points and 4 assists) combined for 44 points in the win. Bogdan Bogdanovic tallied 28 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals for the Hawks. The Knicks improve to 6-5 on the season, while the Hawks fall to 6-5.

    New York got their win. They are going to beat Golden State and both Los Angeles this year. If Trae would have keep his momentum on his A-Game the entire game, then Atlanta would have blown New York out. Just saying

    This is a tough loss a hard fought game by atlanta just couldn’t get things to go our way in the final few minutes. This game could’ve definitely gone either way but tough luck down the stretch. It’s good to see bogi with a great game though but these close games hurt when they don’t go your way. Once Trae gets going with his shot i feel like this team can go to that next level and be much much better, still early in the season just got to try and play your best basketball each night. Next game will be tough as philly visits friday night. Really hoping for a bounce back there. #TrueToAtlanta

    Anytime you have a player that can come off the bench and score 20pts you know you're a dangerous team. Bigups to Quickley for coming off the bench and giving the Knicks a huge spark with 20pts.

    Tough loss by Atlanta, we had a great run by Bogi and Sadiq. Jalen played some magnificent defense and was incredibly accurate tonight. But the Knicks squeezed out with the win, congrats. 🎉

    Knicks are so lucky to have Quickley, he could be a starting point guard for half the teams in the league and he comes off the bench and gives you 6 man of the year production every game.
