   How long do rebuilds last? Well, it depends on what you have, in all honesty. Troy started with nothing and still was able to move salaries and picks to acquire good young talent. A "normal" rebuild usually takes about 3-5 years. We are still only in year three. The fourth year is where you start to see some movement in winning games against good competition. But, when you have injuries and inconsistent veteran play… That can lead to you lengthening the rebuild. The worst thing that can happen right now is if Tom Gores gets impatient and forces Troy to make a "Blake Griffin" style trade when the team is NOT ready to make the leap. Things that grow organically take time. I don't think you can truly judge what this team is until they are fully healthy and have their actual main roster.

   We also have to be honest about what this fan base is…. Most of the Detroit Pistons content creators and fan base are casuals who started rooting for the team late in the Going to Work run and some even around the time they made the 2016 playoffs (not putting any of you guys in that category, of course). But, it's just not a healthy fan base with any patience or actual basketball vision. Outside of you guys, the only guys I can stomach to watch talk about Pistons content are Nic (The Coping Hour) and Jack Kelly (Pistons Intellect). Outside of that… It is just a monster miss. It's either way too one sided on the "everything will be fine" side or… It's "everything sucks, fire everyone, start the rebuild over, Cade sucks, etc…"

   Rebuilds take time, patience, and lots of energy to get through. JE3 tweeted out before the actual rebuild, "This fan base can't even remotely stomach a rebuild… You guys don't actually know what that means…" And he was 100% correct because he knew that most of this fan base couldn't tell you anything about the team, they just wanted to complain about the players and complain about the front office. That's why the fan base sucks. It's just a bunch of reddit frequent trolls looking at box scores and tweeting out bad takes every time a game is on, knowing damn well they aren't watching it.

   I'm worried about Cade. I know the lack of shooting around him hurts, but there is no reason a guy of his skill level should be struggling this much with efficiency and turnovers. Not to mention the defense. He's been the worst high-usage player in the league this year by a pretty wide margin.

   They can still turn it around. The suns had a 8 game loosing streak in Monty’s first year too.

   I think Coach Monty rubs people & players the wrong way BUT I think we need that!! Not saying Coach Casey was a bad coach but maybe he was a little too passive & Monty is now holding players accountable! If you mess up your benched. I think he’s trying to create that culture where you gotta put in the work! You might win a few games by using only your “Best Players” but there’s no discipline! And until the players & us fans realize there is a right way & wrong way to play this game & I think Monty is willing to lose until he creates that DISCIPLINE WINNING CULTURE!

    How many excuses did you Clowns give to Coach Casey? Coach Casey best player lastyear was Bogdanovich and the 2nd best player was Killian! Coach Casey never had a chance!
