According to an NBA insider, he reports after speaking to Zach LaVine and his camp recently, that they still prefer Zach LaVine to not be traded to the New York Knicks. We also learned from this insider that the New York Knicks would prefer to not include RJ Barrett in any potential deal for the Chicago Bulls All-Star. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

My prediction is a 3 way trade of Spida to NY, LaVine to Cavs, Evan/Ihart/Rubio/3 1st from NY to Chicago. Will still need to figure out the back up 4 and with Evan gone it makes finding an ideal trade harder (maybe moving Grimes and a 1st for one would be a follow up move).

Imo, Leon Rose is very lazy. He appears to be very complacent. He has really only made one major move with obtaining Brunson and accumulating picks. He has failed to draft a true up and coming athletic player, nor bring in any significant free agents. At some point, we need to draft at least one good draft pick. I never wanted Zach Levine here even before we thought about trading. He ain't built like that for me, he's injury prone number 1, he's a little above average. He ain't moving the needle forwar, he's not going to be what we need. Now if we're talking about someone like a Deandre Fox from the Sacramento Kings, that's what I'm talking about moving the needle, or a Ingram from the Pelicans…simple as that brother…the Zach thing is strictly Garbage he's aaaaaaight, but he ain't what he thinks he is…he's "SOFT" for NYC.
