The Oklahoma City Thunder are TERRIFYING…

After a few years of rebuilding, the Oklahoma City Thunder are back towards the top of the Western Conference standings and seem poised for a breakthrough season. They’re lead by a legit MVP candidate in Shai Gilgeous Alexander, rising young stars like Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, and Josh Giddey, and a cast of great supporting pieces that have them locked in on both ends of the court. As a Thunder fan, this is what I’ve been waiting for and it’s only the beginning. Let’s talk about it.

  1. As a thunder fan do you think you guys could’ve eventually won a chip with the big 3 from 10 years ago if they never rebuilt

  2. As an honest Thunder fan, I think the Thunder should trade Shai, JDub, Chet, Giddey, Wallace, and Joe for Boban on the rockets!! Please?

  3. OKC needs to use some of that draft capital to tighten up the balance of the roster. It seems to me they could use a center that compliments their young core. Not necessarily a star but someone to plug and play.

  4. Chet has great knowledge of the game for a rookie. He had a year to study while injured. Him and ausar Thompson are valid candidates for roty

  5. I am beyond glad the Thunder are doing so well. Before last season, I told my brother to watch out for the Thunder, that they would be a damn good team within the next couple of years. My brother and I get to see them play against my other favorite team (the Dallas Mavericks) in a few weeks, and I can't wait!

  6. Watching the game, the Thunder did amazing, but if we wanna go on a serious run, we gotta get better on the boards (statistically, it was closer than it felt watching the game), and Chet’s gotta get more aggressive. Chet’s 7’1 and had 6’0 Chris Paul guarding him in the post and instead of back him down or simply just shooting over him he’d pass it. I think another thing hold us back is we don’t necessarily have a bonafide #2 scorer. Every Championship team has that guy who is the go-to if your main scorer is off and that can consistently drop 20. I definitely think JDub is that guy for us, but he just has to step up and take that role

  7. Cone! Of course I listen to you on Topic Thunder, so I’m glad you dropped this video. I gotta say, the bench of Cason, Kenny, Joe and Vava, was incredible. I have been so impressed with Micic, and felt like he is starting to come around.

  8. When Shai isn’t shooting well they need to change the offense more around Chet

  9. If im not a rockets fan. I would def be an okc fan. Im a fan of how the front office build this team and they are fun to watch.

  10. I do think they should trade giddey, but not because I don’t believe in giddey, I just think he would could get you a piece that’s a better fit, the thunder really need more size and defense on the wing

  11. A few things i noticed now with this team, is how every one of our guys can dribble and pass to some degree. This is huge because the 2012-2019 era we literally only had 2 main ball handlers, and the rest were awkwardly placed spot up shooters with no shooting threat. Now, we have a roster that can dribble, pass, shoot, and defend across the 1-10 guys on the roster. Yes some are better at these than others, but the versatility of this roster is why we are 8-4, you cant just ignore everyone because somebody gonna give you 20.

Not to mention mark daigneault’s coaching is 10x better than billy donovans off the simple fact of BALL MOVEMENT. Billy just let russ, KD, and PG do what they wanted, and had guy around them only to bail out if they get clamped. Shai is our main guy, but almost everyone gets their touches, or help go off when he is in a rut. Everyone hustles now, everyone participates on defense, theres more cutting and relocations on three point attempts.

This team feels like an actual basketball team compared to the previous era, and even though i loved russ, ibaka, adams, roberson (to an extent), KD, and PG, we didnt play for each other, and if we did, we had terrible pieces around them. Now this roster feels complete in terms of its identity, now its all about fine-tuning and getting experience.

  12. Is it just me or do the thunder desperately need some size and rebounding?? A legit backup center is all they need to be a contender, but jaylin Williams at backup 5 is no good at 6'9", that's the only weakness they have

  13. love you man but please stop calling non championship contenders scary/terrifying

  14. I wish shai would shoot the three ball a liitle better but other than that. my god i love shai
