NC State vs. BYU: The Wolfpack lost their first game of the season, falling 95-86 to BYU in the championship game of the Las Vegas Showdown. An 11-0 run by the Cougars pushed a 2-point to 13 late in the game. Casey Morsell had a big game, scoring 28 points and grabbing six rebounds. D.J. Burns Jr. had 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Jayden Taylor added 17 points and six rebounds. For BYU, Jaxson Robinson had 23 points, four rebounds, two assists, and a block.

I was at this game and what the video doesn’t show you is how rough the nc state was playing and the cuts in between the fouls. It was a hard fought and brutal game from the beginning. Fricken sweet win though
Massive win for BYU. Trailed most of the game. They stuck to their game, buckled down on D and hit several 3's when they needed them. Then NC State started to crumble (BYU did there for a moment too…but they held on). Very aggressive, hard game. I thought BYU had some super tacky fouls called on them. But they played through them. BYU deserved the win. But Morsell is a heck of a guard for NC State.
Yall should use AI to make these highlight reels. Shit would probably be way better.
