  1. I swear yall been playing too much NBA 2K and living in a fantasy world. Understand THIS IS REAL LIFE and it’s something called TRUST THE FUCKING PROCESS. Y’all think Wemby is supposed to be this “99 overall Created my player” straight out the gates and if he isn’t yall instantly say he’s a disappointment. In order to succeed, YOU MUST STRUGGLE , YOU MUST FAIL, AND YOU MUST HAVE OBSTACLES TO GET OVER. That’s exactly what happening with Victor and this spurs team. And it’s best to happen this early on in his career than any other time. You heard Jokic specifically say “HES GONNA CHANGE THE GAME, SO FOR ALL THE FANS, JUST ENJOY, WATCH THE SHOW, AND LET THE GUY CHANGE THE GAME”. Jesus Christ y’all fans are so Impatient goddamn it’s so fucking annoying listening to y’all talk.

  2. Coach Pop is trolling. Spurs are trying to lose on purpose.😂 Starting a Power forward(Sohan) at Point guard is tanking at its finest.💯

  3. It’s a risky concept but pop is obvs intentionally making it hard for the whole team and seeing everyone’s strengths and weaknesses. He might even be intentionally tanking knowing a lot of the mid 20 year olds aren’t it/but maybe they are and that’s what trying to find out. Sure it’s frustrating but as a sports channel, do you really think pop is trotting out Sochan thinking he is PG of future? Lol. Spurs would do well to pair Wemby with another pick like Nikola Topic or Colier instead of getting bounced in play in game like they have for last several seasons. THIS IS A REBUILDING TEAM

  4. Worthless channel, 1/2 of video is selling his sponsor… will block so it doesn't show up again on my feed.

  5. Pop is not an idiot. he knows that Trey Jones is the obvious natural point guard THIS year for the Spurs. Instead, he is installing Sochan at the point guard position now as part of the near-long-term development of the core(Wimby, Keldon Johnson, and Trey Jones, Vasell ) while at the same time, developing Sochan(for the 2 position), Zach Collins (at the center/power forward off the bench player), and other players under observation right now. I’m not saying Pop is trying to tank. But this year is totally developmental! Nevertheless, there are some extraordinary point guards on the horizon for next year. Let’s not forget that this awkward scenario in the lineup is forcing Wemby to harness the inherent natural abilities that he possesses. There’s a lot of psychological stuff going on here as well. Wemby is a 19 year old diamond in the rough. And over the decades, Popovich has shown that he really is about developing players whether or not they stay with the Spurs or not. (look at Kawhi Leonard.)…not only does Popovich see the bigger picture for the Spurs, but he is wise enough to know that these men will carry on his legacy and deserve the best of his tutelage to be the very best that they can be.
Now…insofaras next year's Spurs roster goes, Pop is likely to go with that which got him (Spurs)to the dance (methodology)to start with.
On a side bar, I noticed that Pop hasn't been raising holy hell about his players not exploiting their length by simply raising their arms to block shots and clogging the passing lanes immediately on defense. In the past, he was adamant about that, and would frequently call timeouts for violation of that behavior…. I understand zone defense, and building a wall, but with this amount of length we should be building a fence along with all the moving parts i.e. the hands. Just saying.
In the Spurs circumstances, there’s a fine line between development and tanking. We already know that the Spurs this year are likely not gonna make the playoffs. Sure we can maybe squeeze by and get in there just to lose in the first round. (This would entail bringing Jones to the point guard position, ect.)But that’s not the spurs. We’re looking at 5 to 7 more championships under Popovich. So he’s utilizing what he’s got this year to develop the core to that end.
Under Popovich’s scheme, all of the Spurs players are getting better every day. And getting better every day more than they would rather than with any other team….just saying 😎

  6. Just a spit ball idea… but what if the spurs made a play for cole anthony from the magic. Dude should be a starting pg somewherw not a back up

  7. The GOAT is holding on to the most turnovers of all time while surpassing the second seed with around 500 turnovers with less than 38 games played.
    Leflop is no GOAT.
Fans don't worry Russel may be his saviour since he's averaging 4.3 TOV per game, so this is plausible if he doesn't end his career too soon. (Leflop avg 3.2 TOV/Game, Karl Malone 3.0 TOV/Game)

  8. Pop was never a great coach. Just examine his coaching history without Tim Duncan, before and after. Dude got too much credit.

  9. the whole roster is awful except victor so … i highly doubt any of those guys gonna still be in the league 5 years from now or maybe warming the bench wemby need a pg like cp3 not bums chucking up contested 3s or mid range jumper

  10. Sochan is at PG because he’s not a shooter by default.
They want to see if he can add more things to his game to increase his value and see if he can eventually move onto other things.
If not so they can move him along somewhere else.

  11. whats wrong with sochan initiating spur's half court offense?? ya don't need an overpaid point for this. better to have a lockdown guard and let wemby get to his spots in half court sets everytime.

  12. The ones to blame are the front office, they decided to tank again because it's easier money than actually bring some help to Wemby…. As a Spurs fan i say FUCK THE PROCESS

  13. If the Spurs win now, they become like the Mavs with Luka, great player but not enough around him. If they lose for another year, it gives them another high talent guy. You're a dumbb dumb for making this video cause it implies you don't understand how the NBA works

  14. They arent that bad to me. I seen them play the toughest teams and do ok even beat some (Suns). I think first half is a learning curve and once they figure out how to play 48 minutes at the same heightened level you will see that bear fruit. I like what they are doing.
