This team is way to inconsistent , when they’re bad they’re awful , when they’re good they’re just decent , no heart , lazy defense , I’m just watching this season to watch the ship sink at this point

-russ played better than the efficiency suggests, but I still don’t really like 13 FG attempts and 3 3’s
-Paul George had a complete stinker
-I thought harden had an ok game on offense but my lord he cannot defend
-Kawhi looks like he’s turning it on which is HUGE
-T Mann is not doing that much more for spacing than Russ and honestly I’d really like them to consider having Russ and mann start and just go full pace for like 4 minutes and then check in harden but obviously the ego aspect probably wouldn’t go over well

Has anyone woke up to realize the Clippers aren’t making the playoffs?? Has anybody realized they aren’t making the play-in?? Look at the standings. Who do you see them overtaking? Which team do you see falling off a cliff out of the Nuggets, Lakers, Suns, Warriors, Wolves, OKC, Warriors, Mavs, Kings, Pelicans, and Rockets?? WHEN and HOW does this team start rattling off win streaks? They won’t, because they’re not a good team. They don’t have a style of play or identify that’ll allow for big win streaks. They can only play the Spurs and Blazers so much. ANNNND Kawhi & PG have played every single game & they’re under .500 WOW!! History shows, they’re gonna miss around 20 games…WOW this is very very bad. Sit back and enjoy watching the titanic sink folks. 🍿🍿

I honestly think we win this game if Kawhi came in with 8 minutes to go and the team prioritized him on offense, even if he ends up passing to someone wide open for a better shot.
They have to quit acting like Kawhi and PG are equals, they're not and never will be because of the mentality. If PG is hot a particular game, then fine, if not then please they need to have Ty Lue tell everyone Kawhi is the man. They're not winning a title unless everyone knows that. But again, if one of the other "stars" are hot in a particular game then let them be the man for that game. But on average it has to be Kawhi. That's my opinion and I am primarily a Kawhi fan, but facts are facts.
Terrible defense against a short-handed GS team. Terrible. Far too many easy buckets at the rim.
The offense isn't AS discombobulated as it's been, but still too much iso ball.
NBA TV analyst Jamal Crawford (who is excellent) said afterwards what some of us have been arguing: Harden, not Westbrook, should be on the 2nd unit. Russ was doing quite well with the starters prior to the trade. He's better off the ball than Harden. He doesn't need as many shots or touches to be effective. Harden could run the 2nd unit, dribble and shoot all he wants.
I wonder if Lue wants to try this but won't because James is such a diva.
In any case, it's sad and ironic that finally we've got the Big Two healthy and playing (even Kawhi is playing back-to-backs) and are still struggling. I still cannot figure out WHY they acquired Harden.
Of course I want to be optimistic but the fact is the Clips just haven't had any truly outstanding wins since getting the Beard. Rockets blew a late lead due to inexperience and even then it took a buzzer beater to win. Spurs aren't even trying to win right now. Mavs mailed it in. Kings were exhausted on the 2nd night of a back-to-back after a tough comeback win over GS.
They've lost to inferior teams, a short-handed Nuggets team. Etc.
I'm not a pessimist. Just keeping it real. Not looking good. I see a play-in spot at best and and likely an early exit. I'm afraid no title with this roster.
I hate playing the blame game but you are spot on about Paul geaorge.he is great but most of these dissapointing losses we have had has been the games where hshoots alot of shots and cant hit at all. and again, I LOVE RUSS but why does he shoot so many important 3s. he needs to stop.someone check his dam ego. there is a reason he is left open he cant even make dunks anymore or contested layups or even wide open layups at times. If he can just focus on everything else but scoring we would be fine but he will never stop shooting terrible shots its insane!
I’m not one to complain about the refs but that might have been the worst officiated game I’ve seen in 20 years. That 3rd quarter was so lopsided and ridiculous. Tiky tacky fouls for the dubs and the clippers got clobbered

Yup, hate that ty been going small towards end of games. When he does teams always drive and get easy lay ups been killing us all year. Zu has to be in the game and has earned to be in the game at the end with his recent play.
I had guests over and didn't turn the game on until their were 3 minutes left in the 4th. What I witnessed was a Clipper team, down by 8, with zero sense of urgency. At no point did it look like we any ability to close. We might as well have cleared the bench, waved the white flag.

At this point they should consider brining Harden off the bench. I haven't seen any improvements from the team by starting Harden over Westbrook. One of the reasons it seemed like it was working in the beginning is because they played the Spurs twice which is almost the worst team in the league. Seem like everyone always wanna point out the negatives in Westbrook game if he happened to have a poor shooting performance but for what I'm seeing everyone has a bad shooting performance from time to time… I just think Westbrook game and personality is more suitable for this team.

He is just not aggressive like a …SGA …how many times do i have to say it ! ..6 pts what a joke ! 13 points what a joke ! …he will stay shooting those long ass shots ..in stead of go to the dam whole over and over ! To draw fouls on the other team ! And get there best players in foul trouble ..and its on TY lou ! For not staying on him to do that he rather keep shooting and missing . Then he will start with those stupid crazy turn overs that always leads to points for the other team . U just cant get him and khwii playing great together ..Then zubac miss so many easy shots and always getting beat on the pick and roll ! Over and over its just sad . I can go on . But ill leave it at that for the next lose ! .
I've been one of Zu's biggest critics but him, kawhi and hardin looked like they're the only ones out there last night.
