Two 2nd rounders for Obi Toppin is looking like the most 1-sided trade in recent Pacers history unless one of those 2nd rounders miraculously becomes an all-star.
As much as people are harping on the defense, there are some legitimately good blocks and steals each game that have swung the tempo in Pacers favor.
Jackson & Smith are doing amazing behind Myles.
People keep comparing Ty to Curry this season – I guess because of the 3s, but the most Assists curry has ever had was 8.5 in one season. 2nd most was 7.7 and all others were less than 7 assists. Ty is like Curry/Stockton or Curry/Magic combo with 3pt ability + wild playmaking ability. Honestly when I see a nothing but net 3, it reminds me of Reggie more than anything. The only Curry-esque component is how he has consistency hitting the wildly deep 3s.
If ty can maintain 12+ assists/gm and hit 50/40/90 as he is currently, I think that is MVP locked in.
