During this offseason, for the New York Knicks, while there were a number of names that came up associated with them and linked to them, one name stood out among the rest, Joel Embiid. Embiid’s name has been linked to the Knicks for a number of weeks now, all indicating that potentially he could be traded to the Knicks. However, thanks to an NBA insider with Philadelphia, they actually report that the Knicks at this point in time, do not have enough assets to get the reigning MVP of the league Joel Embiid. Why would Embid want to leave Philly?? He already has a good team. Regardless of Embid’s relationship with Rose, it wouldn’t make any sense for Philly or Embid.
