For weeks, reports have linked Leon Rose and The Knicks to potentially wanting to make a major move to add a star or superstar NBA player to the roster. Most of the reporting has been about the Knicks targeting certain players but Adrian Wojnarowski via ESPN helps to provide a massive up on the Knicks and their future plans. If the front office insists on waiting for the summer to exhaust their assets then it will be a move that looks desperate. Go after Donovan now, use backdoor influence to ensure he lets it be known that he wants the knicks. That creates leverage….

I could see the Knicks trade/Sign for Kawhi Leonard as their star. He is a free agent next summer. That would move RJ to the 3 for sure. Then if say an Embiid or Luka Doncic requested a trade in the future MommaMia!

Truthfully if we can get Donovan Mitchell, I'm willing to trade Brunson afterwards. No reason to keep two 6ft guards. We can package Brunson up for a real Allstar level 6"7 wing. We gotta shake things up somehow

The Knicks have enough talent to successfully compete with any team in the league, but clearly something is preventing them from doing this, and to me it comes down to Thibs.
Coach Thibs is known as a defensive specialist, so when his defensive team loses its defensive prowess then that’s a problem for his team.
I also believe that certain players are better suited for certain teams, and for me this is the case with Randle and the Knicks.
Randle is a good player and he’s been balling out lately and I’m grateful for what he’s brought to the team. However I personally don’t believe that he’s the right fit for this Knicks team.
I might be wrong, but I think Lauri Markkanen is a better fit for this team because he stretches the floor more and he holds the ball less than Randle.
Being that both players are All Stars, maybe some sort of trade could be made to have them to switch teams.
The goal for the Knicks is to win now!!!
