it's not just "BAM, he goes to Europe for 2 years, BAM he comes back" all confident and improved – it's working with the greatest, most successful coach in Europe in KK Partizan club system for (only) a year on EuroLeague level
it's weird that you also mentioned another KK Partizan product, Davis Bertans – also exploded after couple of seasons in this club, working with another great coach Duško Vujošević (he's a long term working coach with a lot of young aspiring players and making them reach EL/NBA skill levels up to 2014 when he …let's say, left the club not of his own will, but that's another, not at all basketball story)

I hate to break this to you, but this game looked like the preseason games.
I think Kidd’s thin playbook is the issue.
we get it there are so called "badnights" then what are the mavs planning to do when this happens again? they williams and djj should cut more inside the basket instead of trying hard to make an outside shot when you know u alr have a bad shooting early in the game. sadly josh and ky are the only guys who scores inside and we dont have them. there also not much of a rotation when lukas driving the lane they just stood there until luka has nowhere to go and pass and thats where they just starts to move and just cost us turnovers..
