The Ultimate Mavericks Team

In this series, I assemble what I believe is the greatest team possible for each franchise. In this specific video, we’re looking at the Dallas Mavericks.
5 starters, 5 backups, and 3 rotations players. A total of 13 roster spots on each Ultimate Team. It’s not just about talent, but it’s about building a team that works and gels together.

The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad’s recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it’s rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

  1. Here are the remaining teams in the series… Which do you think will be the best of these?
    Nets
    Nuggets
    Pacers
    Pelicans
    Pistons
    Raptors
    Rockets
    Spurs
    Suns
    Thunder
    Timberwolves
    Trail Blazers
    Warriors
    Wizards

  2. Personal problems aside, you have to put Roy Tarpley as the backup center, he was a beast and could have been a hall of famer!

  3. Couldn't wait to click on this video and see where my fav player jamal mashburn came in…not even an honorable mention!! First time ive been disappointed

  4. Funny enough the ultimate team playstyle is basically the current playstyle try to to outscore the enemy team and play almost no defense

  5. Appreciate the love. But there are too many guards on this team. Shawn Marion should have made it instead of harper

  6. I wonder how often Vince Carter will have shown up in the honorable mentions when the series is done :D.

  7. Jim Jackson and Jamal Mashburn should've made the cut. The 3J's were a problem in the back court for that brief period of the 90s

  8. Crazy point guard depth on offense, Harper, Bradley, Terry, and Tyson Chandler carrying the Mavericks defensively, Dirk, Donic, Irving, Mark, Nash, and Michael F carrying the offensive production.

  9. Really surprised Jamal Mashburn wasn't even an honorable mention? He played his first few seasons there and I think averaged like 25 a game in his 2nd yr. Used to have a few of his rookie cards so remember it well.

  10. C'mon man u can't put kyrie in there he hasn't done a damn thing there yet.
And leave maverick legends like Josh howard, barea, and Jimmy Jackson off there

  11. PG Nash
    SG Kidd
    SF Michael Finley
    PF Dirk
    C Dwight Powell

    PG Derek Harper
    SG Ronaldo Blackman
    SF Mark Aguirre
    PF Jay Vincent
    C Sam Perkins

    11 Jason Terry
    12 Brad Davis
    13 Luka

  12. If we are putting Kyrie into the starting line up based on <35 games how do you not give at least an honorable mention to Mondter Mash and Nick the Quick.

  13. Would absolutely love to watch this team, so much offensive capability with Tyson Chandler providing some much needed rim protection, plus all potential rotations with Nash and Kidd would make such a free flowing team

  14. They're better on Defense than Kings and Lakers. we all know that Webber, Divac, shaq wilt and kareem played ZERO defense
Dirk averaged more Steals than all of them combined.

  15. I'm confused about this list. I think Kyrie shouldn't make the list cos he's done basically nothing.

I always assumed you took their careers as they were on the team not their careers as a whole.

This means Tmac might make it on Raptors, Magic and Rockets and the only reason he doesn't make it on the Spurs is because people forgot he played for them.

Hence, the narrative is he's never made it out of the first round in his career but he actually made it to the finals in 2013 Pops refused to play him so he won't get any credit whatsoever.

  16. SG – Michael Finley
    PG – Steve Nash
    F – Mark Aguirre
    PF – Dirk Nowitzki
C – Kristaps Porzingis I know he only played 3 seasons there but he Was good at 20 and 10 with 2 blocks.
    —————————————————
SF/SG Luka Doncic hasn't yet proven to be a winner like Aguirre Is/was

    F Shawn Marion

C Tyson Chandler Even though he only played 2 seasons Someone has to play Center.

    F Jamal Mashburn

    PG Jason Kidd

    PF Sam Perkins

    SG Jason Terry

    PG Derek Harper

    G F Swingman Cedric Ceballos

  17. Dirk Nowitzki in 2002-03 ranked 9th In Defense of all the players in the league to play over 2000 minutes. (All the Starters) Dirk Nowitzki Ranked 9th in Defense He is the 9th Best Defensive player in the NBA in 2002-03.

So some out there have been LYING to PUSH A MEAN VICIOUS LIE and a RACIST LIE THe media joined in on it. They lied about Bird aswell. We know who they are and why they lie about these two. Jews hate Blond People. They've lied about Kristaps Porzingis a lot as well. Just like they Continually lie about Don Trump

  18. I have SO many issues witg this. You made it seem like JKidd didn't start his career in Dallas. You got Kristaps and Deandre Jordan on honorable mentions but no Jerry Stackhouse or Jamal Mashburn. Kyrie has played a full season with Dallas get him outta here. And the Matrix gotta be on the lineup somewhere. You usually on point but you could have done better on this one my G.
