Today we are fortunate to have Miss Gale Benson and CJ McCullum here for um gifts for our club members we have over 60 kids here today that are receiving gifts from them it’s such a wonderful experience for these club members to have the opportunity to engage with Role

Models like CJ and of course such a wonderful person in the community Gil Benson upstairs we’re going to have for you to use computers and iPads so that’ll all be upstairs okay the Miss Benson came through gave him some gifts um it’s been great out here

Um I remember when I was a kid going back to the Bo and Girls Club so this is bringing back a lot of memories we are so grateful we have about 20 25 Foster families who you guys are hosting today they get to come to a beautiful hotel overlooking the river

Eat as much as you want and these are things that they wouldn’t ordinarily get a chance to do a be Hest being sports teams like we’re humans right and we have the lean of the human connection to make sure that we’re giving back in the communities where we play where we live

And where we serve and so just super excited about the work that Mrs Vincent is doing and just the heart that she has I am so proud and humble to announce this donation it will not only contribute to the continued success of the good shepher school but it will also

Pave the way for a new chapter in its history Yeah

New Orleans Pelicans governor Gayle Benson as well as Pelicans players hosted various events across the New Orleans community throughout December as part of their Season of Giving.
