Hawks vs. Bulls Postgame Press Conference: Quin Snyder

Hawks vs. Bulls Postgame Press Conference: Quin Snyder

Well we um after doing fairly decent job in the first half defensively with some you know they Drumm and hurt us on the boards and a few things like that but the second half we our our our execution on the defensive end was was poor um

They were just they were on the rim the whole half and you know you still have a chance to win if we make shots but if we’re not making shots at a given time and giving up 60 to 70 points in a half we don’t it’s not a game we’re going to

Win and U unfortunately that that was the case tonight qu um what does it say about this team that they can execute as you mention in the first half but then when it comes to situations where maybe the pressure goes on and and teams go on extended runs that they can’t pull

Themselves back into what they need to do and focus I mean we just have to collectively we just have to make each possession more important you know we had some mental mistakes where we did get stops and either didn’t come up with a loose ball or threw the ball away you

Know and uh you know we can’t afford to put more pressure on ourselves and if we’re not making shots that that defensive end becomes even more important sometimes I think we um we want to get it back on the offensive end and um we need to get it back on the

Defensive end and that just has to be you know you know more focus on our defensive execution and it wasn’t one thing you know if if it was the thing it was was a series of breakdowns and uh across the board we did get a stop um you know we had a hard

Time securing a rebound um so just our our general anything else okay thank you

  1. I was always wondering why AJ Griffin's minutes disappeared once this guy took over as coach. Come to find out AJ wears his faith on his sleeve… a devil wouldn't prefer that at all

  2. Giving up 2nd Chance shots doomed the Hawks tonight. This game should have been easily won.

Outside of Trae Murray and Bogi. The next 3 best players on the Team are JJ,  Capela, and Okungwu. Two bigs need to be on the floor at all times for this version of Hawks team.

The PF/C rotation of big men would revolve around JJ/Capela,  Capela/Okungwu, and Okungwu/JJ.

My Guard rotation would be simple. It would be a consistent rotation of Young,  Murray, and Bogi.

    Either a combo of Young/Murray, Murray/Bogi,  Young/Bogi at the PG/SG position.

And the SF position would be a rotation of
…. Hunter,  Bey,  and a little of Griffin or Lundy.

This way you always have size in the front court for REBs and Defense and you always have shooting and floor spacing.
