Yet people still want him traded, tired of the disrespect. If he starts getting a bit more touches he can easily be averaging 20 for us. Certified bucket getting samurai

Rui never getting a chance at all to start while getting paid more than Vando/Prince is pretty odd to say the least.

I’ve always said he’s easily our most talented non-LeBron/AD forward. I’ll just chalk it up to the concussion and nasal/facial injury he had.

I’ve been an advocate for starting since the beginning of the season, and I would even start him in this lineup in place Cam.

Too bad Pockets doesn’t care, cam reddish you are a STARTER and shoot 15 shots a game please. Prince has been playing a lot better from his bad start but yeah Rui would make a few buckets and immediately go straight to the bench. Damn shame

Yeah but Ham is Chicken Soup for the Soul and who doesn’t love the heartwarming story of Reddish, on a minimum, nearly out of the NBA, starting for a ā€œchampionship contenderā€ and playing 35 min a night.

Id start him he’d grow more and he’d be more useful he is a 15-20 ppg scorer and solid defender not perfect on the perimiter but he not awful like they say. I think he a rhythm guy. That reflect towards defense too. When guys get offense going they get more energy.

  7. Fallofmen10

Don’t worry Ham will sit him the moment cam is healthy lolol

  8. TorontoRaptors34

Ham needs to let him rock as a starter he not a bench guy.

Start Bron Reaves Vando Rui AD. Also Bron on offense is much more respectable this season. AD even hitting shots randomly not consistent but at least Brons a lot more on point thanks to a healthy foot.

  9. I don’t know.. Rui is awesome & clearly should be on the floor more but the offensive plan with him is when we throw him the ball you’re putting the ball up no matter what. Doesn’t matter if there’s 2 guys on you, just force it & try to score. Why? Where’s the ball movement or any plan outside of iso to get guys moving & playing in sync. It puts Rui in a weird spot bc when he’s on everyone wants him playing more. When he’s missing it looks like forced hero ball.

Cam imo would be more useful to an extent than Vando cuz he can still provide offense and defense. Vando is a negative on offense.

    Lebron (pg)

    AR (sg)

    Rui (pf)

    Vando (sf)

    AD (c)

How y’all feel about this starting 5?

  12. pinktwhite

Imma need a sample size larger than 4 games. But yeah this roster sucks ass so might as well keep experimenting to see if this is a thing to keep using

    AR, Rui, Vando, LBJ, AD
    Dlo, Max, Cam, Prince, Wood

  14. Comprehensive_Rush82

Ham needs to go if the team wants to utilize Rui appropriately.

  15. lets_talk_basketball

LeBron literally said the other day Rui is gonna ball out every time as long as he gets minutes… Yet Ham don’t wanna listen to his best player.

    It’s gotta be frustrating

Man’s got the build to be a beast in this league. He’s already got something most people his size don’t and that’s his reliable jump shot.

All he really lacks is the aggression and willingness to attack. Look for contact and attack the rim more and we can win it all. I BELIEVE

  17. Old-Albatross-7684

Problem is Ham only likes bench players.

  18. nekomekomon

Rui deserves to start, he’s a starter on any other team than Darvin Ham’s mind smh.

  19. Yommination

Ham is a dunce and has been using him wrong
