Wolves’ Finch on poor execution late in loss to Mavs
Fat offense really um couple turnovers that cost us one on the rebound one on the roll but um you know some some rushed shots you know I got to do a better job I got to get the ball um you know into Mike’s hands at that point in
Time like I had been doing all season um but uh you know uh really good game you know they made they um you know we got down we came back we took the lead normally we’ve been winning those games but today we didn’t so you saw your star
Players on both sides really have really big games with Aunt and Cat how did you feel about the way they approach the game I thought they did a good job of kind of surviving foul trouble for the most part um and uh you know each of
Them had um had it going for at one point or another um we just couldn’t get one one one or two uh of them to go down in the final three minutes so you tempted to go with Mike a little earlier coming back I know he had played
A lot of minutes tonight um cuz it’s like the offense kind of started when he was still on the bench or the bad offense kind of started um I mean no I was going I mean I was going to go go with them around about the 3 minute Mark
So something like that so Chris just in terms of like those Rush shots like how do the guys how do you guys want want the guys staying aggressive looking for it but then also like being smart with what they’re doing yeah I think um I mean I thought you know they were some
Good looks maybe just a little rush that you know so just take your time and um um and step up and make it but you you talking before the game about a kind of approaching some of those defensive matchups star Players Once you call the timeout like six minutes left
He switched on to Luca Jaden went on to Kyrie how how does that process I guess just kind of well we just felt uh you know an was doing a good job of just kind of blowing up a lot of the screens all by himself um at that point in time
Uh was getting into him making it difficult uh you know was wasn’t going to let him have the step back you um and then we also felt that Jaden’s you know length on Kyrie could have be a little more bothersome so you like most of those looks that Jaden had tonight I
Mean for the most part yeah I mean the only thing I I mean yeah for absolutely you know he makes you know makes uh more than not he’ll make those so how was it to try to navigate in around foul trouble a had an early Carl you kind of
Dealt with it is it kind of like yeah I mean in the second half especially car Ry pardon I I know I never really felt that I I was going to try to leave them in when they picked up the four I just was trying to survive the third you know
Um we did a good job of with what that unit really did they pounded the glass they um hung in there um uh and you know left the game in a position where we can go back and win it um but yeah it was the way the the way those those fouls
That were they were getting were like kind of like um wild they they weren’t very clean I didn’t want them to get a cheap fifth one you know it wasn’t like they were getting it some you know like it was just yeah had to protect them from themselves so an’s been talking the
I the past six seven games about wanting to be more aggressive offensively it seemed like he was really getting the bucket uh with ease in this one did that feel like the right type balance of aggression from an in this one yeah I thought so I mean I thought I said the
Tone early getting getting to the hoop um in the open floor um sorry early in the offense early attacks were there um for sure yeah I’ve really been pleased with the last few games with his decision making and and in his aggression Rudy had that one turnover
Late in on your side of the cour did did you see did he get hung up there like which one the one where he threw it in the back court yeah I mean he left his feet you know on to make the pass which you know is uh you know fundamentally
Unsound but uh yeah so any other questions thanks all right [Applause] thanks

GIVE TBJ MINUTES !!!! I GET THAT YOU PUTTING KYLE THERE FOR DEFENSE, BUT WE NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN SCORE AND PLAY D !!!!
Free throws and a couple more 3s needed to drop. Move on to the next.
Seems like a repeating theme. How about bench Jaden?? He is awful!!!
KAT 1-5 at the end of the game and two key fouls. C'mon, big fella.
rudy let kyrie get that rebound from him plus threw that garbage pass to ant. should've had naz in. Jaden keeps doing dumb stuff during clutch time too smh. If ant never got three could near just the half of the first quarter maybe he would've given us a much bigger lead to start the game off.
Play troy brown and stop fucking trotting out Jmac and Kyle anderson and make a trade so the team can gel before its too late. Bojan, Bogdan, hell any onivic will work for me just get someone who can shoot the fucking ball please god.
Why are you doubling luka letting Kyrie cook? That was a terrible gameplan I think we are starting to see this is as far as Finch can take us. A stubborn coach
Got to focus on end of game offense Finch. At some point you gotta put a filter on some of the shot attempts by players that are ice cold like Jaden get the ball, Conley or ants hands. They’re also need to be some restraint on stupid three-pointers that are chucked up, especially when you’re up six points and take back the momentum. It’s all good will come back firing against the magic. It’s a long season we just need to learn from these mistakes.
