It’s simple. A Great defensive team got beat by 2 of the best offensive players in the NBA.
I mean it's difficult to defend Luka and Kai, but it should be equally difficult for the Mavs to defend against KAT and Gobert. The Mavs got Powell as the center who's 6-10 tall, and Jones and THJ are wings who are both 6-5 or something. While you got 2 of the biggest guys on the court, it's a sin not to go for the paint.
