Like averaged 130 points in the month of December and nobody I didn’t hear much about the coach and AJ I didn’t hear as much like when they started five and four but then he lose a couple games and that talk comes back and uh we like to

Celtics the best team in the NBA that’s all I’ve been hearing no excuse for your starters to basically get blown out by 40 some points all night long uh it so it was a trash stor from the Boston Celtics uh and I thought again I would

Be appalled if I was a Boston Cel fan for the way that team played and for the action to their coach uh quitting at halftime just just some so so lame loser stuff the basketball guyss are watching Chris King I’mma give you the final word welcome back Chris King I’m

Going to let you I’m let you jump in this is like uh Jordan coming back from from retirement I feel like uh getting back from Thailand I I appreciate you guys uh holding it down holding it down for me um look you know about um this game I in particular I was really

Impressed with how the bucks came out and rebounded and got up and down the floor I think this Bucks team is really good when you start fast and start early I think I think earlier uh in the season some of the concerns we had were the fact that bucks they always started down

And and they had to come back in the fourth quarter and make big runs to come back but I think this is a a good point for the Bucs to really continue and get that momentum when you start off fast and start off strong because it can demoralize teams like we saw it

Today yeah I would agree with all those points and I would also say that look this thing was over if you look at the I mean the end of the first quarter it was 41 to 23 we already knew the Cel were on the ropes at that point uh but when you

Look at this I mean just looking at what the Bucks did in the first half in the first half 7538 un at a half that is the largest Point deficit according to Sports Center that Boston’s had since 1967 in the first half of a game you

Imagine that right like that is a very very long time so you know credit there but what I like about this and I always say this you guys will hear me say certain things as a broken record this was done what in the aggregate right yeah showed up in that first half 18

Points Dame shows up 17 points Malik Beasley 10 points Bobby poris 16 points Brook Lopez nine points you just saw the different pieces and the different weapons of the Bucks all chip in and uh and build that sub substantial lead couple of numbers that I want to look at

Here though just I I couldn’t believe this you realize the Boston Celtics didn’t make a single three-pointer in the second half and they only made one three-pointer in the first half period I mean that is that’s awful that’s awful they made one three-pointer in fact to go ahead

And give you the official number they were one for 16 from three in the first half and that I mean guys that is pitiful that’s absolutely pitiful um conversely the Bucks were 11 for 22 right the Bucks the Bucks had a tremendous first half shot 57 from the

Field 50% from three uh 70% from 73% from the free throw line but I mean you know at the end of the day we’re not going to be that nitpicky um also I’ll I’ll point out that the Bucks had twice as many rebounds as the Celtics in this

Game why is that relevant well because the Celtics are the number one rebounding team in the league at uh about right around 47.6 and I think the Bucks are at 11 at 11.1 but guys listen this is what we were looking forward to we said this the

Other day this is what we needed to see from this team just a bounceback win get things back on track and I think this certainly would do that um credit to credit to coach Griffin for just letting his guys do his thing and these guys coming out focused in the first half and

The Bucks wanted this thing and you know look look this doesn’t say everything about either team I don’t I don’t think that the that the Celtics are some awful awful team because they lost buy a ton here but what I will say is that they didn’t show up tonight and

They paid for it and the Bucks did and the Bucs took it to them so you know like we always say in football Any Given Sunday well you know this is any given uh Thursday or Monday or Saturday or Sunday y’all give no 100% yeah I know I feel the same way

I feel the same but technical diffic difficulty I don’t know Trey can’t hear me but I you know I think that with all those misses I think that’s really what the Bucs tried to do was just get out there and run and transition and I think

It it really worked with um you know you saw Bobby get a couple of transition threes you saw uh a couple fast break points and I also you know it didn’t show up necessarily on the stat sheet but Andre Jackson Jr a lot of big offensive rebounds kicking it back out

The shooters getting open buckets I felt like uh he he played with a lot of intensity and then guarding Jason Tatum I felt like he performed really well didn’t back down from Tatum at all I would agree with that I think I think Andre Jackson Jr is going to be a

Contributor but the interesting thing about him though is his game you can’t necessarily look at the stat sheet and look at the way he contributes you got to watch the game and watch how he impacts the team and watch how he makes these different plays right because like

You may see a rebound okay but what that rebound lead to right what was the result of that and when you and when you look at that I I I I love Andre Jackson J game and I think he should continue to get minutes interesting thing you realize Andre Jackson Jr played tonight

That first half when the Bucks only played eight men conversely Maran Bo champ been touched Court to the fourth quarter and that’s when the that’s when the the bench guys were already out there for for Boston what do you yeah what do what do we think about uh

Missoula pull pulling the starters at at half what do you think JT man I thought that was weak but I’m GNA let TC weigh in on that uh I don’t know what I’m supposed to weigh in on for Chris is saying so what am I supposed to waiting

On here how how weak it was for Missoula to uh to rest starters in the in the in the second half yeah yeah I thought yeah like I said I thought I thought that was whack I I just I I didn’t appreciate it uh I don’t know hopefully my audio is

Don’t show up in the fourth quarter maybe you don’t maybe you don’t get that point of it get to that part of it but but to to act like you can’t come out and play at all like you you got you had nothing tonight no no no you got beat

Down uh tonight make me feel great about what the Milwaukee Bucks have I said it you know on Twitter I was like well it makes me feel fine bucks and six and what this show me because I actually do talk I’ll talk about for for for one

Second just about how the Bucks played you see that and again all the questions that surrounded Bucks A lot of it was about you know energy and effort and and want to and all the things we talk about John and Chris grabbing rebounds going and getting boards playing tough how

Many I’m G tell you I did not see one time tonight not once did I see anybody do a straight line drive to the basket now I saw a couple back door Cuts I saw a couple times we didn’t get back in transition well enough however what I

Didn’t what I didn’t see was anybody get the get an individual assment that was Malik Beasley who was on Yannis whoever was on uh when guys were with Drew how was a self check but anybody else on that floor I did not see one time where

We let somebody drive right by us and act like we couldn’t get a defensive stance to make a stop or at least get in front of somebody and that’s how you play defense tonight Chris Middleton played excellent defense tonight that’s what I wanted to see I wanted to see the

Guys do that lock in how many rebounds did I see the guys get not and I think they Li a couple Second Chance points early but for the most part they did a great job on the boards this team was locked in and focused and what this

Should show you is that yeah there may be a couple bumps in the road where you don’t play your best through a five game stretch through a seven eight eight game stretch whatever that is but when it comes down to it when this team locks in and they’re ready to play

Basketball yeah they they can compete with anybody and and and and what didn’t happen Kyle if you want to go that route what didn’t because because what you could have what Boston could have done tonight was really showed everybody yeah we are on top of everything and the Milwaukee

Bucks can’t see it they are not threats what you did not do was eliminate the threat that is the Milwaukee Bucks if you’re a ball Celtics fan you have to look look at this game tonight and go you you can cope if you want to and act

Like nothing happened but you got to look at this game tonight go yeah Giannis and Dame and Malik be easy hitting threes yeah if they walk into our building for a seven game series it’s going to be it’s going to be a tough night yeah I mean you let you let six

Guys put up 75 points on you in the first half six guys put up 75 points on you in the first half oh your starters was in when that happened we can’t say oh you know the starters were resting at that point so you know they was playing

The backups when they no no no no your starters were in there and they got this work they got this work in that first half you can’t you just can’t take that away from the bucks um you know having said that listen I don’t know what the

What the thought process is with Boston but I think you’d be hard pressed to argue that Boston did not give up tonight right it’s like U they did you guys watch uh y’all watch Boxing right you you watch those boxing boxing matches and you’ll see a guy get hit in

Like that first or second round and he and it like wobbles him a little bit and the rest of that fight his entire equilibrium is off right like you watch that you see that thing you see him get wobbled and you like man you know yeah

He didn’t get knocked out there but his equal livm off he look he look off his punch has got no gas on him he just looked like he’s kind of wobbly there right that’s how the that’s how the Celtics Look Tonight especially after that first really say three fours of the

Way through that first quarter um and you know they they they they they didn’t have it but the Bucks gave them work and that’s really what the narrative is here in this the Bucks gave them work and that’s what I think we need to we need

That’s the way we need to look at this tonight instead of Boston was just tired Boston was here no no no they came out here they got they they got punched in their mouth and they said you know what want Fight Man y y’all got it y’all got

It you can have my lunch money you can have my shoes my coat and my hat right you you you you you you lay down and let it happen um um pause pause come on man sorry um um I want to um I want to ask you John I know

Like I I can’t hear Chris at all but I do want to ask you were you surprised at all with how this night turned out did what and and like I said either either way were you surprised I guess I asking in or or maybe the question is were you

What were you more surprised at were you more surprised because I think everybody me I think everybody’s surprised that that tonight happened the way it did but were you more surprised that the Bucks they came out with an attitude like they were gonna beat down the Boston Celtics

Or were you more surprised that Boston G said no moss and gave no resistance what were you more surprised at so I was more surprised that the bucks came out and played as well as they did we we have been talking about slow starts from Dr

Griffin for a while uh and usually when the Bucs get to 70 points in that first half great things happen I didn’t expect that to happen against this Boston team I certainly didn’t um I I’ll say you know I knew I had a I had a feeling you

Know there there may be some tour dates in this one right in that in that first half especially towards the end when I when I looked up and I think Drew holiday was two for nine uh somebody else was like three for nine uh Jason Jaylen Brown was finished

Five for 18 I just knew I I or I’m sorry we have five for I think it was five for 18 you know I just knew okay this is infectious these guys stinking it up here like and that’s and that’s what’s gonna happen but I’m really more

Impressed with how the Bucks played in that first half from you know you had what four guy Five Guys and double figures in that first half I thought that was I thought that was remarkable um and I mean honestly Bobby having all the bench point I was a little surprised

At that but again Bobby was absolutely balling Bobby got a uh What uh what’s the man’s clothing L Bobby got a l sponsorship let say no hey Bobby got a l Bobby got a late sponsorship boy I hope uh I hope Jaylen milro sends Bobby a

T-shirt because he need to he need at least once a week he need to pull up wearing that thing going into a game because Bobby you know Bobby was in his bag tonight uh and you got to give credit to him for that you 100% do yeah

I mean so JT you could just tell him when I’m uh when I’m done but I think just regarding Bobby I mean I think what he did tonight was kind of let the game come to him early on it was a little bit of black hole stuff where he would get

The ball and then you wouldn’t get it back and he missed a couple couple shots but then from then on he was taking good shots and making them high percentage shots knocking down open ones I think that’s a big part of why Bobby poris can

Be great for this team but it has to happen more on a consistent level and then to answer Trey’s question I mean I think I’m surprised that that the Bucs came out this way and uh you know whatever the the people had to say on National Television talking about the OT

Game that doesn’t make an excuse for a 30-point loss especially when this is a team you could probably see in the playoffs so I think no excuses for the Celtics but I am glad but also surprised that the Bucs came out this way 100% right quick side note Trey I see you

You have to give credit to Dr Griffin tonight um he absolutely flustered Boston and again I give credit to the guys they executed the game plan I don’t know if you heard or saw Bobby poris uh he was talking pregame with the team guys and you know Bobby was you know

Alluding to the fact that you know we have to execute the game plan and so much so many times I hear you know hey this is happening or this isn’t happening oh look the Bucks don’t have ball movement or you know Dame Lillard he’s not dictating the offense how many

Times do we see Damen Lillard tonight like I said start of the game three couple three balls bang bang right in your face and it’s like that’s what been that’s Adrian Griffin can’t make you do that that’s that is your god-given potential and it’s your god-given ability that youve had since you’ve been

In Portland nobody no coach taught you that that’s just you and he wasn’t he wasn’t doing that how many times tonight did we see dami Lillard uh attack off the dribble and had some nasty finishes how many times I’ve seen throughout the last you know 15 or so games where Dame

Wasn’t able to make those finishes and tonight he made a couple like I said just very nice finishes over bigs and so you know that’s some of the stuff that that coaching doesn’t bring you that’s just you and again A lot of times I think we as fans and we as just people

Who are watching you know you have to just find something to blame and sometimes it’s as simple as yeah the guy’s not playing well enough and you know I even look at it um did you hear during the broadcast tonight John where that I think was the first time I know

We’ve talked about it and I know people on Twitter have talked about and social media talked about Damen L’s divorce and not seeing his kids but this is the first time I believe somebody correct me if I’m wrong that during the broadcast they I think it was Ali leforce or

Whoever was you know um doing the the sideline reporting tonight talked about the fact that he has it’s just he’s been saying it’s tough Damien Lillard commenting publicly that it’s tough not being able to see your kids and going through a divorce and he mentioned the fact that you know I understand that

Other people go through it and and like I said he’s he’s not the first won’t be the last person to get a divorce and and you know have custody issues not be able to see your children but what he said was you know the fans want to see Dame

Look they want to see Dame time that doesn’t matter to them and maybe it should matter to us a little more but these guys are humans just like the rest of us again you know I deal with people work right and well I won’t get into but

But I’ve had PE I’ve had issues with people and one of the excuses was well I’m going through a divorce or and again that that’s fine but are you meeting on what I need you to mean are you are you doing the things that you know that I need you to do and

And for some period of time Damen Lillet has not done that necessarily for the books I don’t know whether or not that’s a part of it or not but you can’t deny that that weighs heavy on somebody’s mind and so hopefully you know what he

And then he takes he takes a game off against Utah for personal reasons I don’t know what I I have no clue what he had going on where he couldn’t play uh but tonight he came out he looked like Dame do he looked like Dame time he look

Like the guy that we know and and want to see and have seen in the past and I hope that’s a sign of things to come definitely and my thing is you know what what your coach tell you I don’t know if your coach told you this in college I my

Coach did is listen if you’re mentals ain’t right nothing’s right right your mind ain’t right your body’s not right right so thinking about that with somebody told they told me crwby the NTI killing you [Laughter] son I’m just saying as you as you sit

For the Solo Cup I know you had a whole lot of those at Howard I know you got a whole lot of those at Howard but yeah look if your mentals aren’t right then your physicals not right too and uh we all know people who’ve been to

Divorce who go through that and by and large I will see I think divorce for at least one party tears tears people apart right people do things that are absolutely uncharacteristic uh and people really really struggle with that especially if you got kids involved you know I don’t know what father would not

Be torn apart if they couldn’t see their kids and you know especially those close relationships and I believe Dame has relatively young kids too so yeah it’s just it’s a it’s a tough tough tough situation having said that uh he did take some time off like you said against

Utah uh but he he he still is showing up night in and Night Out U just like most of us would have to do if we go to if we go to work uh but what I what I will say though is that I do hope and pray for

A a swift resolution here something that works for for both parties um not just because Dame is a great basketball player and I want to see him great well but like just is a human being I don’t wish I I don’t wish that on on anyone I don’t wish an acrimonious divorce

Proceeding child custody hearing on anybody so uh yeah I mean look what we got playoffs starting in late April I believe so you let’s hope over the next few months he can get these uh these issues behind him we can see more Dame dollar Dame time

Yeah uh JT you know I I think I am a little too young to be coming on uh on divorce and not being able to see your kids but where I can understand Dame’s perspective is the fact that look Dame is also moving to a different state

A state that he’s probably not too familiar with in the first place just probably just playing the Bucs in the road games and yeah it it’ll be tough on him regardless you’re going from where you called home for 10 plus years and then you go to Milwaukee and it’ll be an

Adjustment and so I think just having that kind of Grace for Dame and being able to just Overlook some of the bad performances if this is what he’s dealing with and this is a reason then you know I I think he’ll be fine when it comes to just jelling with the team more

And and bonding with the team and I I think the chemistry will go up certainly when Dame gets everything figured out so uh so for a record I I I jumped out of the stream came back in I got you Chris um we back in business uh probably

Should done that a little earlier but yeah no 100% I I agree with you you know that the fact it it definitely is when you look at at at Dame you know being in a different location all of this is new and again what do we talk we’re

Preaching time after time just give it give it give it a moment give those guys 36 I know people like to think we’re almost halfway in the season don’t worry about any of this until the until the break I mean because again if you I said this before and I know maybe people

Believe me or not if you told me before the season started if you said Trey the Milwaukee Bucks gonna be second and East gonna be a couple games out um Damien lard is not going to look like Dam Lillard the defense is going to be awful

Offense is going to look real good but your defense is going to be terrible Damen Lillard is not going to look like Dame yet Chris Milton was going to be on a a minut restriction for the first 30 games of the Year Bobby Porter was gonna

Stink it up for a bunch of the year if you told me all that and you say hey but just but 37 games in you’re second in the East I I say yeah I would take it in a heartbeat because there’s so much more basketball left to be played speaking of

Which I do want to ask you guys about Bobby pores because Bobby Portis tonight again I don’t know he may get some of you guys we get the game ball I I’m very curious to see who you guys give the game ball to because you you you know

Bobby poris and and where is he on that list does do kns like tonight does that change your mind or does that make you dig your heels even harder and say hey hey look over here everybody look look what we got we got Bob look look what he

Did tonight and and and you’ll try and does that which direction does that go for you on the Bobby Porter thing so I got off the trade Bobby bandwagon when I realized that or the trade Bobby train when I realized what Bobby brings off the court too and when

I realized that Bobby poris is kind of the backbone you know one part of the backbone of this team especially in the locker room from a leadership perspective when I realized how much the guys love Bobby um and I didn’t think the skills went anywhere I just thought there’s something inconsistent his play

Had been up and down and we saw him stink in ways that we don’t really remember recently I think in recent history um but I’ve been off of trade Bobby bandwagon you know and the trade Bobby train unless unless you can truly get better which I’m not sure I’m not

100% sure you you can um especially when Bobby porise is playing up to his ility right because we weren’t asking for Bobby poris to have phenomenal games like this we were just asking for Bobby to kind of do what we seen him do the last few years and he was not doing that

Uh so yeah I mean listen I if we need something and that’s the only way we can get it and it is a true upgrade then we got to trade him but if if not right if we just if I don’t want us to trade Bobby because we’re just not amused with

His performance right because as you see tonight Bobby go five for six three on Bobby Bobby sparked that run off the bench right Bobby if Bobby goes crazy oh you know this team’s about the ball out so yeah I mean I I kind of agree with

That I I think I was off the bandwagon when the Pacers thing happened and you know Bobby was very vocal on the court um not letting his Superstar take anything um so I I really do like Bobby and what he brings to the table but I
