The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 127-110. D’Angelo Russell (29 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists) and Anthony Davis (28 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists) led the Lakers as LeBron James added 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists as the Lakers starting five scored 105 of the 127 total points. Luka Doncic led Dallas with 33 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. The Lakers have won their second consecutive game and are back to .500 at 21-21 as the Mavericks move to 24-18.
This is the third time Russell, James, and Davis have scored 25+ points in a game each, which marks the most such games this season by a specific trio. They are one of two trios in the league to have multiple 25+ points games together (Sacramento – Keegan Murray, De’Aaron Fox, & Domantas Sabonis, 2x).
Luka Doncic totaled his seventh triple-double of the season, only Domantas Sabonis (11) and Nikola Jokic (12 have more. This is the 63rd triple-double of Luka’s career. All seven of Luka’s triple-doubles this season have been 30-point triple doubles (N. Jokic – 5 such triple-doubles).
Luka now has 37 career 30-point triple-doubles, which ties LeBron James for third-most such games all-time:

    Lakers last 2 games look like what every Laker fan thought the team would be, that slump they had really made no sense. They're 4-2 last 6 games, gotta keep stacking the wins and get back in the playoff picture

    lakers played great but i hope they dont start throwing games late. they esp LeGoat should refrain from chucking 3s when up by 20. you dont need it. you just have to make easy buckets to keep the lead and not give the opponents a chance to make a comeback. but great job sharing the ball. and shoutout to ham who called that timeout when mavs started to a 5,6 scoring run. i was afraid he aint gonna stop the mavs momentum. 2wins vs top teams equals 2 sleepless nights for hatears lol

    On any given night Dlo is a top 5 PG in the league and on any given night Dlo is a top 5 worst PG in the league. If the Lakers can get a confident Dlo performing consistently, the trade rumors will quiet down immediately.

    DLOs playmaking abilities is just underrated and unappreciated. If you look how he does the pick and roll with AD/Bron is on point and his passes to open guys making plays is really good then you add his confidence back being on the starting lineup, Big Difference on how he plays now offensively and you can see the tandem of DLO+AR in the backcourt helps the flow of offense from AD and Bron. That was the problem when Ham is messing with the rotation but now everything is just Gellin👏🏽..
