Joel Embiid extends his 30+ point game streak to 20 as the Philadelphia 76ers defeat the Charolette Hornets, 97-89. Embiid recorded 33 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the 76ers, while Tobias Harris added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the victory. Miles Bridges tallied 25 points (5-10 3pt. FG) and 11 rebounds for the Hornets. The 76ers win their fifth consecutive game as they improve to 28-13 on the season, while the Hornets fall to 9-31.
Joel Embiid joins Wilt Chamberlain (4x) and James Harden (1x) as the only players in NBA History to record 30+ points in 20 or more games in a row. This is the sixth instance NBA History with such streak:

He hasn’t played 20 consecutive games. Dude has sat out half the season. Anyone could manage this score streak if they only played half the season. How does it count as a streak when he’s missed so many games. The other mvp candidates are actually THERE for their teams. He’s missed so many games he should be dropped from the list. Jokic should be 1 and Giannis deserves 2. They show up for their teams on a regular basis.
