Super team at the time you know this is when Darren Williams forur got was still a decent player they had Joe Johnson who was an All-Star caliber player as well at on top of that you had Brook Lopez who was a very great basketball player then you add on an aging Kevin Garnett
And an aging Paul Pierce and thinking that this will you know give them over the hump well Brooklyn Nets they did not get over that hump matter of fact as many know that was a failed disaster and that Brooklyn Net team I don’t even believe they made
It past the second round of the playoffs and well of course looking back at that trade those two two of those picks that they gave the the Boston Celtics you know cuzz the Celtics they finessed them those picks ended up being Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum two guys
Who are your Cornerstone pieces of your franchise today after that fail disaster for the Brooklyn Nets with that so-called super team that they did have that roster and the Nets they were coming out with just role players for CR G they didn’t have any talented players
Really at all on their team many of the guys who they have drafted or they got you know were late first round picks second round picks not really major talent for this Brooklyn Nets team but I say that now because you know it’s just strange how life can work and as we all
Know the Brooklyn Nets not that long ago pretty much had Kevin Durant Kyrie Irving and James Harden at one point on this team and they were team that were seen as possibly a championship Contender no they were a championship contender and we see how all that plays
Out Kyrie Irving doesn’t play for a while James Harden’s injured Kevin Durant’s in and out with injuries and things of that nature at times it just did not work out at all for that Brooklyn Nets team and then yet again they had to blow it up Kyrie iring
Demanded a trade Kevin Durant was moved I mean everything that went wrong for the Brooklyn Nets literally went wrong and if you look at now where the brookly Nets are today this team they don’t really have their own draft pick and you can say oh well those picks that they
Have for Phoenix and like 2027 2028 we don’t know yet if that that Phoenix Sun scene will be good or not and the reality is still they are still right now in this moment a great team so the possibility of them even getting a great draft pick then is still very slim and

Best players right now on this team but regardless of that I mean there’s really nothing else that they have I mean they have Nick Clon they have they have you know some great solid players but this is a team right now where in reality you can put them in a position where you
Know they will be teams that will want these other guys that they do have that are players like this team they’re in a position right now where you just don’t know where they can go yeah they have some great young Talent they have some decent players but they are still I
Would say as far as their future they’re probably even worse than a team like the Detroit Pistons and you know the thing is the Pistons at least they have hope because they’re young and they have talent and they’re growing but this Brooklyn n team doesn’t even have their
Own lottery picks and the picks that they do have are old two really good teams so it’s not really a great situation for this Brooklyn Nets team to be in right now you can basically say that they are pretty much in the same position that they were many years ago

Nets to really just make a really big decision you know are they going to decide to have Mel Bridges as their Cornerstone building piece for this team and try to build around him which is now the only thing that possibly makes sense for them knowing that the situation that
They are in also as well to trade the assets that are treatable on this team cuz I will say you know your best players on this team is melbridge cam Thomas Nick Laxton those are you know your best players that you have on this team and I would say that is of course
The primary focus is on bu and gron those guys and luckily enough they were and they in a better position than they were many years ago when they had you know Paul Pierce and Dar Williams let’s not let’s not talk about that anymore but we know what we’re referring to and
They’re in a better position now in comparison to then so they have you know a a team that they can build around but it’s just a problem of you know Drafting and not really having all the proper assets and your picks being owned to teams that are really good puts them
In a situation where they have to basically compete their hardest every single year sad part about it it’s not like nothing is really going to come out of this because nothing will so they’re kind of just in the dead zone these next few years until they actually have their
Own assets they have their own draft picks and they can really then start to really rebuild and actually try to their best to build the proper team the Brooklyn Nets I think one thing they definitely have to learn moving forward as a franchise is is to really stop
