The NBA Has A Miami Heat Problem…

Amongst all the contenders in a very talented Eastern Conference the Boston Celtics absolutely dominating everyone we’re waiting on the Philadelphia 76ers to get fully back to form withdraw and beat hopefully returning from injury the Bucks have been extremely interesting trying to figure out this mid-season doc River situation the team that we always

Seem to forget about is the Miami Heat and in case you didn’t notice the Miami Heat are looking very dangerous lately they’re 9-2 in their last 11 games they’ve won five straight all of them on the road and lots of those wins were by double digits as well and all of those

Are indicators of a very dangerous team come playoff time and that’s without even accounting for obviously the history of postseason success with the heat over the last couple of seasons and they’re very much starting to look like a scary team once again and they’re doing all of this they’re winning these

Game all by doing very Miami Heat stuff they’re playing these weird defenses they’re playing a ton of Zone they’re missing guys due to injury and it just doesn’t matter no playoff team in the league no consistent playoff team in the league cares less about their regular season record on a year-to-year basis

Than the Miami Heat and it works for them they experiment all year long so that they are ready to go when the postseason rolls around and of course we have seen this before going back to last year when you compare the numbers from this year these are pretty similar teams

And I say that in a good way a staple of the Miami Heat Under head coach Eric bolra has been them being a great defensive team they’re top 10 in the league in defensive rating once again this season they’ve been better lately last year they were bottom 10 in

Offensive rating and that is once again the case this year but again I don’t worry about that with Miami like I look at their regular season stuff and I think well they’re missing their guys a ton they’re experimenting with a lot of different stuff and I think this roster

Is actually better suited to be a good postseason offensive team than last year’s was now obviously last year’s team benefited from some three-point variance going in their Direction they made a ton of Threes in a postseason last year and that’s the best way to increase your offensive efficiency is if

You’re a really good defensive team and then you make some threes on the offensive end but even if that’s not the case I think this roster is just better constructed for them to be successful in the postseason offensively and we know that they’re going to be able to guard

Of course they brought in Terry roier at the trade deadline who did not play well at all in his first handful of games with the heat and then suffered an injury and having another shot Creator alongside guys like Tyler hero Jimmy Butler bavo that’s going to be extremely

Helpful for them and it’s been something that they have been missing for a long time it’s what they brought in Kyle Lowry honestly to be and obviously that did not work out uh but roier I think is going to be extremely helpful in a postseason environment in which need

Guys that can just kind of go get you a bucket sometimes and roir is definitely one of those guys haime hakz of course as well guy that they brought in in the draft who has been unbelievable all year long just perfect for the heat does everything right again another not

Necessarily creator for them but someone that you can give the ball to and have him do some stuff whether it be in the post whether it be on short rolls guards really well gives you good size a really nice addition and a really good complimentary player even in comparison

To the guys that they had on that team last year and then the other thing that I I think people were kind of missing this year as well is the the the three guys the three non JB guys that really really matter this roster Tyler hero and dunan Robinson those three guys have

Been better this year than they were last year there’s there’s small improvements from each of them that make this that much more of a dangerous team bam is a better offensive player this year in terms of scoring and of course we know what he brings as a facilitator

And defensively as well Hero has been more efficient more confident he’s had more high volume scoring games he’s had lower volume scoring games is a legit piece for them in the postseason offensively and then Duncan Robinson as well we know he’s going to have hot and cold stretches that’s the case with any

Shooter but I really think that there has been significant improvement from him getting to the rim at sometimes this year and then obviously continuing to be a fantastic shooter as well and then the other piece of this is of course Jimmy Butler there have been times over the

Last couple of Seasons where he has gone into the postseason and not been healthy I’m going to assume this year he’s going to go into the postseason very very healthy and ready to go he’s been you know away from the team for various reasons unfortunately for him and I

Think that once we actually get to the games that really really matter we’re going to have a fully locked in fully healthy fully energized Jimmy Butler which is a very very dangerous recipe for any other team and when you combine all those pieces together from a roster perspective this is absolutely a

Competitive team that I could see making a run to the Conference Finals or even the finals as we saw last year and the last piece of the puzzle here for Miami is something you always have to pay attention to they just kind of have the number of a couple of different teams in

The Eastern Conference and primarily teams that they’re going to have to beat in order to make a run of the Conference Finals or the finals namely the Boston Celtics who they beat last year who have had issues uh with the heat in the past there’s something about those matchups

That doesn’t really matter what the seed is between those two teams it doesn’t really matter you know how talented each roster is Miami just feels like they have a mental Edge over that Celtics team and if I was a Celtics fan amongst any other team in the conference

Probably apart from maybe Milwaukee the team that I would want to avoid the most is the Miami Heat which obviously is a positive for the Heat and I also would throw Milwaukee in there as well they’ve had success against them in the postseason in the past as well and I

Don’t know if the they have their number thing is as strong as it is against Boston because there have been some Series in which Milwaukee has had success against Miami but there does feel like there’s still a thing there where those two teams play each other Milwaukee maybe starts to doubt

Themselves a little bit not to mention obviously the factor of Dame wanting to go to Miami initially and then ending up in Milwaukee and the bottom line is for Miami the entire year I’ve been kind of waiting for this kind of stretch for them where they show us and remind us

Hey we can actually make a run we are actually a legit team we did make the finals last year we do have a ton of postseason success on our resume over the last couple of seasons and we had really had that stretch from them yet but now we have finally seen it double

Digit wins are a huge indicator of a team that is playing well they’ve got some really impressive Road wins in this stretch as well and I can say with full confidence that even if the regular season record doesn’t look outstanding by the end of the year even if some of

The advanced numbers don’t look outstanding by by the end of the year the Miami Heat can beat any team in the conference they absolutely can it’s going to be tougher against some matchups than others but they can beat anybody in East absolutely we have seen it before they just made the finals with

I would argue a worst team and a worst roster last year and yeah they could lose in the first round that’s absolutely within the real or possibility but because of the way they’ve constructed this roster and because of how well they’re playing lately I’m confident that they could

Easily do exactly what they did last year and it’s so funny to say that about a team that has the regular season pedigree that they have this year and last year but I’m just not going to bet against them I’m not going to be the guy

That is wrong about the heat because I said that they have no chance to make the Conference Finals or the finals we’ve seen it too many times they’re too well coached they’re too talented they’re too tough they are just an issue for so many of these still kind of

Younger teams in the Eastern Conference there maybe teams that haven’t quite gotten over the hump and they’re absolutely going to be a problem I’m really interested to see as well kind of how they match up with maybe some of these other teams that they could match

Up with whether it be New York or Cleveland uh those kinds of teams haven’t really dealt with Miami in a in a postseason environment and I’m curious how they’ll react especially the Knicks they kind of have this this toughness and this this bravado with them that

Kind of goes along with what the Heat have and I’d be interested to see how those two things match up and I’m sure there are fans of teams in Eastern Conference that are watching this video and thinking there’s no way tuck we you know we played these guys multiple times

This year we’ve beaten them they’re not as good against above 500 teams as you would expect d d d dot that’s fine but I can promise you there are Bucs fans there are Sixers fans there are Celtics fans that if they could choose to play each other in the playoffs they would

Over playing the he team they absolutely would and that to me is the definition of the mark of a team that is truly truly dangerous in the postseason that no matter what happens in the regular year no matter what happens with their roster throughout the season you still

Are afraid to play against them and I would argue that apart from Boston and maybe Milwaukee at their best the heat are the scariest team in the Eastern Conference right now and I wasn’t really all that ready to make that assertion until this recent stretch to play

Because I wasn’t just going to say it just because it’s the heat but now that I’ve kind of seen this and I’ve seen them do this not even really fully at full strength for some of these games uh I’m all in and I’m ready to see what they could do in the postseason

The Miami Heat suddenly look very dangerous once again behind Jimmy Butler, and could once again have a great playoff run.

  1. For the number I’m sorry but The Heat have Milwaukees number than the Celtics. I genuinely think that losing Gracen Allen and Jrue Holiday their Chemistry went to near nonexistent

  2. Really frustrating to be a heat fan during the regular season. Maybe a team that was one game away from missing the playoffs last year should prioritize winning games over experimenting a bit more. Side note: Duncan Robinsons evolution as a playmaker and facilitator has been a revelation.

  3. The Heat are like the spurs with Duncan and crew. They were just expected to be in the playoffs every year whether they were good or not

  4. Heat fan here. doesnt matter if the heat gets in the finals. they will still lose to big teams. their small ball dont work against nuggets and twolves. they need a legit bigman

  5. They got the best coach in the league in Erik Spoelstra, the best playoff performer in the league in Jimmy Butler, the best 2-way player in Bam Adebayo, the best shooting duo in Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson, and the best rookie and a gem in Jaime Jaquez Jr, and of course, the golden child that is Nikola Jovic. This is arguably the scariest and most dangerous team in the entire league, and them winning a championship title is not a matter of "if" but "when".

  6. They better not play the Celtics in the first round, better later. This Celtics team is different and they already swept the season series. The Heat’s best matchup is against the Bucks. Get by them and the second round and maybe the C’s choke.

  7. I really think that the injury issues every year somehow help the heat. This is how the role players get playing time, get better and have to develop self creation. And thats why everyone can go off. They all know how to create on that level

  8. brother i assure you everybody wants to go against the heat. ain’t nobody scared of these fraud merchants 💀

  9. For some reason… I feel like they might surprisingly win the finals and shift a lot in the NBA ….

  10. I honestly wish the celtics would use their strategy of not giving it their full effort in the regular season, then turning it up in the playoffs. Cuz the celtics are clearly more tired come playoff time. I don't care about them getting a top 3 record….I want the title. Use your bench! Every damn game the starters play 40+ minutes and I don't feel it's too smart, and Miami shows this every damn year. Partially by knocking us out every other matchup

  11. The C's, Nuggets and maybe the Wolves because of size, but for some reason, if you watch them they matchup well with most teams. It's the teams with size that kill them.

  12. The Heat are only getting better and healthier. Celtics are the only challenge and even then there’s always a chance

  13. As a Celtics fan I would love to face the Heat first. Good way to start the post season. Quell our demons right away and set things right. If we lose then we never deserved a chip in the first place.

  14. Every single basketball youtube channel has dropped some version of this video since the all star break. Maybe they're not that slept on

No hate, I'm a Heat Fan and a fan of the channel so I love hearing about my team. But if everyone thinks they're underrated, then they're just rated

  15. I was at this game you're showing in this video! Blazers are so bad, game tickets are dirt cheap, literally a buck a pop if you're behind the baskets in the nosebleeds, $3-$6 a pop if you're sat along the side of the court in the nosebleeds. Only $15-$30 a pop for some upper club level (200) seats. Crazy cool. Blazers actually played way better than I expected. We lead most of the game until the 4th when as always, we partially imploded. Ant did NOT help there as usual, being painfully streaky offensively, and absolutely giving zero effort defensively. Toumani and Ashton Hagans absolutely carried us in that game. And man were there too many Heat fans in the RG haha.

  16. It’s simple: it’s completely different playing a series than playing a game. Regular season favors one dimensional teams.

  17. Spo is just too good. The roster is kinda trash but Spo makes them good. Rozier was a good add-on but Bam really needs help. I don't see them winning a championship during the Jimmy era but they are in good hands under Spo.
