New Orleans Pelicans, Matt Ryan, and AmeriHealth Caritas host Ticket to Health Basketball Clinic
I’m super excited to be here with y’all we love we love uh uh doing these kind of events we want to make sure that today you have fun learning to play as a team working together that’s what community is all about you know staying active is definitely
Very very important you know not only does it keep you in good shape but it allows you to kind of work out with other people as well and that’s the beauty of sports and playing on teams is you get to have friends that you go out
There and play with I just came and helped run some stations you know meet all the kids that were here working hard had a lot of cool Personalities in these little kids so it’s cool to be out here with them seeing them work hard on the same court that that we play Pelicans
Games on so [Applause] on can go all the way down anybody know my jersey number this is for the ball to come out here uh be in the community meet people shake hands take pictures show support in any way we can uh it’s just about you know giving back uh
Giving some of our time to them they come and cheer us on so uh if we can show up for them when we can it’s great and
The New Orleans Pelicans teamed up with AmeriHealth Caritas to host a Ticket to Health Basketball Clinic at the Smoothie King Center on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Forward Matt Ryan was on hand to walk attendees through the drills and interact with them.
