NBA to give him an opportunity to play and with an overall lack of point guard depth in the team which has gotten even worth after the Scotty Barnes injury to his hand it’ll be great to see potentially him get some minutes in the NBA for the rest of the season and it

Will be interesting to see if he can earn that roster spot for the season upcoming in the regular season for the Raptors 905 he’s been putting up 24 points per game on about 46% shooting and 34% shooting from three rebounds the ball really well he’s a big point guard

Jamas Ramsey he’s been brought into the team on a 10day contract out of the G league and jamas Ramsey has kind of been a player that’s been on my radar for a good amount of times not so much in terms of actually making an NBA roster but just for his athletic ability and

Overall potential that could be associated with that hasn’t quite panned out for the player but again it’s another opportunity for Raptors to get a glimpse of a player to see what they can bring to the team certainly we would not have expected DJ carton to come into the

Team and all of a sudden earn himself a two-way contract could jamas Ramsey do something in the same sort of capacity that remains to be seen he is still only 22 years old so potential could be on the way here especially if he continues to produce similar numbers like this

That he did in the G league with Oklahoma City’s g-league affiliate he averaged 22.3 points on 55% shooting from the field and nearly 43% shooting from three that along with eight rebounds per game gives a good sort of impression that hey this is a guy who

Replace so once Muhammad ouay did get that two-way contract my expectation was one of the two-way players was going to be converted and that player was very likely going to be jonte Porter especially for the lack of depth the Raptors have in the center position still and with right now yakob purle

Missing a little bit of time due to injury but the rap decided not to convert jonte Porter instead they decided to bring in as I said jamas Ramsey to fill that roster spot which means somebody had to go on the team and that player was perhaps to the surprise

Of a few people Maris Noel Maris Noel waved by the Raptors to make room on a two-way spot for again Mohamed duay and it’s been an overall decent season here for Maris noell obviously was absolutely outstanding last season at this time of year in March Madness with Kansas state

Which really elevated himself enough to get at least into maybe some draft conversations ultimately went undrafted but there was a clear indication this player had ability the Raptors wanted to take a chance on him despite the player being 57 5’8 just to see what he can do

Concerns about the player actually bringing his talents to the NBA and the Raptors decided to go in a different direction and try out some other players for the rest of the season maybe it was a case of bring in two point guards last summer Freeman Liberty and Noel just to

See hey which one will beat the other out to get that sort of NBA position that we’re looking for in terms of building out our point guard depth and it seems as though dvon Freeman Liberty has won that one so for Maris noell there’s Talent there undeniably it was

Always going to be an uphill battle for him to try and get into the NBA but I think that there is still a path towards building out a very good professional career whether or not that’s in the NBA remains to be seen but he’s a talented enough player to carve out a role

Somewhere in the world plays professionally and earn himself a solid living doing so as well maris’s a Workhorse he’ll bounce back but you know kind of unfortunate here you always want to see players do well especially players like this who work so hard for their own chances it just didn’t really
