Was making that extra pass too, when heβs passing the ball especially when heβs double or triple teamed, instead of getting himself in trouble and taking a dumb shot. If heβs passing the ball and making the right play, his individual game with in the game opens up. I think that makes us tougher too beat
A clear improvement over previous years. His game outside of scoring is so underlooked. In general this team shares the ball so well with everyone. Really fun to watch
He has to realize that heβd be a much better player if he stopped shooting so many 3s & went downhill
Outside the third, when everyone was garbage, had a solid game. Seemed a little more comfortable in his shoes last night, which was good to see.
Also, I know it's early days, but I think Drew Carter is just awful on the call. He sounds like the play by play announcer for a non-branded basketball video game, just as generic as can be imagined. Like if the DNC organizing committee called NBA games. Should have been Grande, and barring that, someone with an ounce of charisma.
His jump shot really looks rough, esp off the dribble. Seems like too much bulking up has impacted it negatively, as heβs been one of the worst pull up shooters in the league last year and this year
