You’re not Pat you’re wrong because it’s not it’s it’s deeper than that but it it does come a point where you have to looking you have to say we got Kobe who progressed he took a leap not just a step of leap iow who took a mini leap in

The way cuz I think a step is still a little bit too too small to show how much he’s progressed but then you got players in the wing erop showing you something right you have to find minutes for dalen at some point you just have to

To see what you got in him erop who’s better on the wing he’s better ba te who’s better at the two and the three so no just those things alone those are four players that all are going to kind of overlap in similar positions that the

Bulls May sit there and say hey we love what Zach was able to bring um but you know at some point you’re paying $40 million and where you going to get right so and it’s not even the skill I think here’s the thing yeah he has the skill

We we knew IO could play we knew that Zack LaVine or we knew that Kobe white could play but it was about what did they bring consistently and the one thing that has been talked about that both of those guys have brought consistently you guys hear how I

You want that’s that’s willing to do everything maybe he’s our next right the younger version of what Alex kuso has become for the Chicago Bulls I love to have a moving forward but it’s the voices these guys have found their voices when you talk about the Bulls

Being down in a lot of these games it’s not Demar D rozan yelling at guys on the sidelines it’s not niik lavich yelling at guys on the sidelines it’s Kobe white and it’s I dumu telling guys that they need to get in line we got to figure

This out we need to lock up defensively those are the guys that have found their voices in the time where Zack LaVine has been removed from the equation and I don’t think you slow that down I don’t think you stop that in fact I would say

This and when you talk about you know what the future of P will is going to be with this team those are the kind of guys that will consistently be in his ear and say Hey listen you got to go you can’t sit here and take the back seat

There’s no there’s nobody else left on the team for you to not do anything so you need to go and I think when you remove those veteran pieces from it the fact that these young guys have found their voice could be what you need to see this

Bull’s future actually get a little bit brighter that’s a fact and then on top of that when you pair in the fact that the Bulls are right up against the luxury tax you don’t have the ability to add that’s even if they let Demar walk resign Patrick Williams that there still

Don’t have a lot of assets at their disposal to really add role players to the bear the Bears the Bulls may be looking that and saying hey the on top of the progression of the young pieces on top of the fact that we know the Zack

Lavine’s open to a trade we need to find a way to kind of help support the growth of those young players by finding the right role players around them all those things may point to that direction now Casey Johnson does throw in on this this kind of different and even a little bit

Opposite of what KC has reported before that Zack LaVine is not requested a trade but he’s open to one now I don’t know if that’s kind of a now he’s not requesting a trade where he did one did request one before but least in this most recent report it’s saying that he

And you know we we were one game below 500 of course what that meant the Bulls lost the next two games to pushes three games below 500 with 17 games left on the season and an easier schedule it’s not outside the realm of possibility for

The Bulls to win 10 out of the next 17 games but I want to present something here in this and this is why it highlights the fact that every year you don’t get better and you stay the same while other teams get better around you you technically get worse the Bulls

Look at this team and how the young pieces have played it’s still been a roster that’s constructed to give you 500 basketball it’s still been a roster that’s constructed to give you midlevel basketball we won three games guess what might happen tonight you might lose three games in a row like that’s that’s

The that’s what the Chicago bow season has been and it’s what the team season has been for three years now for four years now I mean like this is nothing well we’re above 500 the first year of this team but we only we we lost the second half of that season was very

To win titles we’re going to build this team we want to we want to bring a championship to the city so it’s not like they did they said anything that every new front office is going to say across every major sport in in the world

But you sold on that you went from that to just being to continuity he went from continuity to just saying let’s just be competitive yeah so at some point we just gota we got to get it together man yeah and I think that’s that’s the biggest problem with with where this

Bulls team is at you’re you’re not even getting it together you’re not even getting better you’re yes you’re competitive but you’re competitive on a defensive end right You’ got an offense that can’t figure out how to put up over a hundred points on a consistent basis you’ve got an offense that’s that

Struggles at shooting the three ball at a level that is just competent in the NBA at this point you’ve got an offense that seems scared to shoot the three ball that doesn’t have the people on the team to shoot the three ball I don’t know who’s holding it back but like

Javon Carter came here and started pump faking and I don’t remember him pump faking this much in Milwaukee but like there’s there’s something that when you walk in the United Center you got to just not shoot through three-pointers anymore like I don’t know if unless you’re the oppos opposing team unless

You’re Oppo range yeah then it’s then it’s free game you can shoot it from the other side and it goes in like it doesn’t matter uh I I just the the biggest change that this Bulls team has to make is stop being okay with 500 yeah

And that’s what I said I think we had an episode last week where we talked about this right do finishing strong mean anything and it’s like what is finishing strong if finishing strong is getting to 500 it means absolutely nothing yes the young players played well yes you

Started to move in but you’re still a 500 team you still won three games you still lost two games like that that’s how 500 teams play you get exciting moments you get bad moments and you have to live through those and I’m not saying blow it up I’m not saying bottom it out

But like you you do need to pick a direction and the direction that you’re trying to pick here is the same direction that you’re coming from it’s we we’re going to resign Demar hold on to Zack wait till Lonzo gets back we we’ve done this direction this Direction gets you

Nowhere that’s a fact I mean we got to see hopefully overall we just need Clarity Clarity on the roster Clarity on the direction and that has to come through nothing but actions and I know I I can I can pretty much tell you what the front office is going to come out
