After dominating inside in the first half, Jokic putting the finishing touches on his big night from afar in Denver’s 115-112 win over the Timberwolves. Jokic missed his first three shots but finished 14 of 22 from the field for 35 points. He grabbed 16 rebounds and dished out a pair of crucial late assists.
“Nikola’s going to read the game,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said. ”
“They were sending bodies at him in the post, at the nail.”
Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 30 points but didn’t score in the fourth quarter.”
