Before the game um Monty Williams was talking about you he just said he appreciates how you’ve just evolved as a a shooter and scorer he said obviously you’ve always been a dangerous player because there’s so many things now he has to account for how how do you feel

Like you’ve kind of grown um at that end of the floor um just I think natural maturity just one you get better through you know experience um and you get older you get better more skilled more professional but also just more opportunity I think throughout the years

My opportunity is very not because of my lack of skill set it was think just we had we had you know a lot of big time players that have came through this organization so you know I was just you know patient kept getting better and then now it’s my time one of Joe’s

Favorite plays was at the end of the third we had the double and found Sam in the corner there missed a shot um just kind of making the right reads I know that’s something you’ve kind of Taken pride in this year like a game like this

When the ball’s in your hands a lot more how do you kind of see the yeah I had a few more turnovers than I would have like um tonight most of them came trying to get guys the ball though trying to get KP the ball a couple times you know

U trying to get um guys the ball off the the over heelp and you know I’m okay with that U but just overall just seeing the reading the game making the plays and um I felt good tonight original question we talked a lot about your development as a

Playmaker but as a shooter particularly from three how much how much you work on that how much more confident just letting it Fly um you know you see gu guiding you a certain way just going to your natural emotion and just shoot the ball um try to take too much of the

Thought process out of it and just you know be who you are um I work on my mechanics all the time on my details all the time and just you know just got to just trust yourself let go and just shoot the ball J are you observing

Ramadan I am yep how does that impact your dayto day and preparations uh I mean it’s a it’s a amazing time of the year it’s a bunch of people all over the world who participate and I’m just one of those people who just kind of fall in line um

More about my faith you know more off the court you know stuff that you work on your belief um and things like that but you know I think all of that stuff kind of goes together mentally physically spiritually emotionally um but you know they all play a part in

Each other but I I definitely think it’s more about your your faith and your spirit and your belief more than it is about your the physical nature of things Jo’s talked about kind of extracting value from these games down the stretch here obviously tonight got different guys out different trying a different

Starting lineup first half trying different star lineup second half what can you guys pull from now leight that might help you down the road um flexibility variety is uh things that coaches like love to have and feel good about going into the playoffs be able have confidence and multiple lineups U

Multiple ways to to to win a game so we want to give Joe as much confidence as he can have going into you know the playoffs and we want to be able to play and win in different ways I know you guys want to be peing at the right time

But how do you balance the rest and how are those what are those conversations like for you um you just you know one listening to the training staff listening to the the front office listen to coaching staff also listening to your body and then you know kind of just going with

The flow whatever the team needs it’s a great opportunities for our guys to to grow and get grow confidence in their roles you know get some good reps going into the playoffs cuz you know it’s the you know we’re going to need everybody on this team so giving guys you know um

Some some opportunity they might not normally get I think that can help our team as well so just it’s just a balance you know we still trying to win games we not skipping no steps or taking our foot off the gas but we also are empowering
