  1. Gassed. Big picture, I blame Ben and Marks. Not looking good for Kevin Ollie.

Don’t worry guys! Help is on the way! Just another year of this and a superstar will definitely want to join us in 2025! And if not, we can just trade our valuable picks once again!

Knicks are a perfect juxtaposition of actual good GM work compared to us.

Divincenzo, Hartenstein, and Brunson are amazing pieces and all on insanely team friendly contracts. Throw in McBride and Hart too. Just home run GM work on the margins.

Meanwhile, we have CJ, DFS, and Clax (soon) all on very unfriendly contracts. DFS looks washed too, which anybody with a brain understood was going to happen soon. Just bad GM work.

Claxtons contract is gonna make me wanna jump off a roof this off season fuck

I thought for 3 quarters this was a great Mikal game.

Was engaged on both ends, hitting his threes and was also doing an excellent job defensively on Brunson all game long. But ultimately he got gassed by the 4th and us giving up a 19-4 run after tying it 80-80 did us in.

Ultimately this team lacks offensive skill. No ifs and or buts about it. Cam is decent, but he cannot do it alone. Dennis is good but we also put too much on his plate which he really can’t do anymore, or maybe he was never capable of carrying that load long term anyways.

Mikal is gassed, injured, burnt out and just playing every game for his consecutive games streak. Ideally we’d be giving him 5-6 games off to rest under some injury designation to get him back with more energy and pop later. Cam J can’t hit his threes, DFS looks washed and idek where the Clax has gone that I saw in first half of last season.

Ultimately it’s an unfortunate situation where we are stuck in, owning none of our picks with a roster and a coach that’s realistically #13-#15 in its own conference. Outside of Cam/Mikal taking a star leap suddenly out of nowhere next season and staying at that level, or truly top tier coaching, I am afraid we might be giving top 5 picks to Rockets for a while.

One of the worst feeling’s being a fan is the feeling of hopelessness..

I have no hope for this franchise going forward if the front office/owner stays as put

I suppose I was being generous giving this Frankenstein team of role players 36 wins.

It’s hard to understate how integral the Boston sports media was to annihilating the team publicly in the KD era. Now that Brooklyn has nothing going for it and nothing to look forward to, Marks is left to pray a star just shows up.

Whatever this current version of the Nets are is unwatchable.

I’m a Cam fan but his turnovers killed us tonight

For a team that has Role Players in every position they have no hustle guys, they playing like a bunch of stars that don’t want to risk injury. Cam Johnson is 6’8 and for his career he averages 4 rebounds, today he got 2. Josh Hart is 6’4 he averages 8 and he got 13.

We have 2 terrible contracts on our books and if Sean Marks is the GM this off-season he will give out another awful contract
