Latest on LeBron OUT vs. Bucks + 🚨 Suns’ loss to Spurs ALARMING?! 🚨 | NBA Today

The Lakers they begin a six game road trip tonight in Milwaukee remember this is the first time they’ve played outside of the State of California since February 25th and every single game is all too important for Los Angeles in this race for the playin now welcoming in our reporter covering the Lakers Dave

McManaman who is live from Milwaukee Dave the Lakers they start that six-game road trip tonight against Giannis in the bucks but LeBron is listed as out tonight so what more can you tell us about his injury and his status here moving forward Le I saw LeBron at the Lakers

Morning shoot around today and his longtime athletic trainer Mike mancias was working on him and it was in relatively good spirits I asked him hey are we going to see you tomorrow against Memphis Grizzlies because they play second night of back toback to start this road trip he said nope I’m out for

The rest of the season he was joking which tells me he’s in decent Spirits this is something he’s been dealing with now for months now this left ankle of his is he dealt with it around the All-Star break went to get treatment prior to the All-Star Game and got

Treatment after the All-Star Game and has mostly been on the court but they’re trying to look at this final stretch of 11 games as they want him to be as available as possible that means sacrificing one game when you consider also the fact that this is the first

Season since LeBron played for the Heat in 2012 2013 that his team has a winning record without him this was The Prudent decision to hold him out tonight Dave you should have seen my eyebrow shoot up before you dropped the line that LeBron was joking when he said that it was

Going to be for the season but you’re right the Los Angeles Lakers they have experienc some success even recently against the Milwaukee Bucks it did take an enormous game from D’Angelo Russell in order to win that game and it was home here in Los Angeles but how is this

Team preparing to face Giannis and the Bucks tonight since LeBron will be out for this one oh yeah certainly good of you m to mention that big game from D’Angelo Russell and Spencer dwy who filled in for D’Angelo Russell on Sunday against the ERS with Russell out with a non-co

Illness had one of his biggest offensive games all year but when you spoke to him this morning at shoot round it wasn’t that I expect to go out and score 25 26 points again he said he remembered in that game in early March he was the screener setting up looks for D’Angelo

Russell the good part about this Lakers team is that they feel like they have enough continuity at this stage of the Season even without LeBron to be able to play different scenarios based on different opponents you you saw that playing a defensive style of the game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday

Held the Sixers under 100 points and that was a track race on Sunday against the Indiana Pacers when the Lakers put up a season High 150 it’s probably going to take some combination of those two things against this Bucks team tonight and certainly you get a confidence

Spencer didn’t whaty ready to step in for LeBron James in his absence Dave McManaman from Milwaukee thank you so very much the thing about NBA today though is that you don’t just get what you get on any other show you get the recipes for Success that your team may

Need so for more on that let’s TS it over to Chan who is the key for the Lakers if they want to replicate what they did on March 8 what are they going to need to do against the buck Chan well the key is Anthony Davis who is fresh

Off of winning Western Conference player of the week but tonight he won’t have his guy by his side that hasn’t been a problem though for ad this season the brow is putting up over 28 points in games without LeBron James and here is how the key gets his ETS right here so

Let’s run the tape all right one thing I love about ad is that he can really go off of the dribble people forget he was a point guard in high school he’s going up against Brook Lopez they don’t send a double because this is a great defender

And what does AD do he rocks him to sleep a little bit gets him with a heesy and nice little reverse layup so he’s able to create his own baskets but this right here is nasty it’s dirty again on an island Brook lus he can really guard

Ad but watch this send the double why when he’s comfortable knocking down shots at this clip a turn around mid-range fade away from the free throw line that guy is in his bag sorry my ifb fell off but we’re going to keep running with it now as for the bucks they’re Duo

Of dam and Giannis they have been growing chemistry throughout the season but lately y’all they’ve been on another level now last time that they played the Lakers Damon Yannis each went for over 25 points and had 12 dimes a first of any teammates in a game like that in

League history so that Synergy is growing and I love this pick and roll watch this right here Dame he attacks and these are the buckets that the Bucks need draw to Giannis not staying on the perimeter instead he gets him where Giannis can finish but next level again

In this pick and roll here watch this Giannis quick dribble hand off no thinking what does Dame do he comes off knowing that guys are inside Dam has been shooting 42% from three since Allstar so yes 0’s hands are full because these two guys have been playing so well ever since Allstar break

Malika there’s nothing quite like the wild West and this season it’s lived up to the name the West is absolutely insane I’m not ruling out anything Edward getting up and good night the Warriors the Lakers the Suns this offense is borderline Unstoppable for the r got it at the

Hor woo yeeha the West has been wild all year long but Cowboy Carter comes out this week we’re really diving in right now because things aren’t slowing down as we approach the final stretch of the Season here right the race that may have the most twists the most turns is the

One to stay out of the play in tournament right entering last night the Suns just a half game separated them from both the Kings and the Dallas Mavericks so each and every game it counts for all teams but maybe none more than the big three out in Arizona so

Starting tomorrow’s Clash against the defending champs on ESPN every single team team remaining on the sun schedule is against a team with a better record than Phoenix it is an absolutely brutal stretch all of their opponents they currently top six seeds and would be in the playoffs if they started today but

Take a look at this the Mavs the Kings they both are taking care of business last night so it was even more imperative right the Kevin duranton company capitalized on the cool 78% chance they had to win according to ESPN analytics against the San Antonio Spurs who by the way were without Victor

Wanyama it should be easy right well uh let’s show you what happened Kevin Durant and Company in San Antonio no Victor nice jacket though we’re going to pick this one up in the fourth quarter Chet Deon vasel elevates extends do not sleep on that man Devon vasel but

One thing about the Suns Kevin Durant he has been on one since Allstar he’s been upping his field goals he’s knocking it down but he needed help Malika he needed more help to your point he had 29 Points eight rebounds six assists but still the suns were down dein Booker getting

Crafty gets that one go Brian how do they have 97 points with two minutes left in the game with that offense how well dein Booker looks to add to it there and all of a sudden the Suns take a lead in the final seconds here though

Of the fourth quarter for three soan yes that one’s good Chan so now letting him know are you not entertained San Antonio on its feet Devin Booker trying to cook this is the guy you want to take the shot oh and it rolls around but doesn’t

Go down that could have gone this one too look looking dein Booker another chance and can’t quite get it to go here’s head coach Frank vogle after arguably the sun’s worst loss of the Season yeah it’s just it’s unacceptable to lose that game you know for our guys

You know we all said the right things we all uh did the right preparation to come in but we didn’t play with the necessary focus and disposition shouldn’t lose that game especially after how we beat him last game we got to start the game better fashion like 10 points to start the game

Off so we got to be better I think everybody’s feeling the pressure of in season you and you just control what you can control so the suns were outscored yet again in the fourth quarter that continues on their final frame woes here just look at those numbers Phoenix is

The worst team in the league this season in the fourth quarter they’ve been out scored by more points than any other team for perspective over the last two seasons only the Spurs pre- Wy were outscored by Moore in the fourth quarter which is pretty astonishing perk how

Alarming was this loss here for the Suns it it’s very Al alarming number one right this Suns team is not going to be good until they like consistently involve Bradley Bill last night he had 11 shots that’s not enough they did not trade for Bradley Bill to be taking 11

Shots anybody heard from Kevin Durant lately since he went on that little cute adorable postgame interview talking about you know dropping the word leadership and leader eight or nine times because if you have a leader then you don’t lose a game like that against the San Antonio Spurs without Victor wi

Bea matter of fact before you take off and land in San Antonio that message is being sung all throughout the locker room on the team playing hey man get y’all Minds right when you get to the arena you supposed to have the the focus there to say you know what what we got

To go out here and handle business and get this win that we supposed to win and they didn’t do that you know what you can’t control is not is stopping Sohan from having a awesome night probably the best game of his season you know what else you could could control sharing the

Damn basketball sharing the damn basketball getting others involved it’s not just the KD and Devin Booker show you have to get others involved especially Bradley Bill I’m right there with you perk with the exception of the Kevin Durant slander a little bit saying that oh he has to be the leader that

Gets everyone involved what more can Kevin Durant do he’s 35 years old he’s averaging 27 he’s being more aggressive the second half of the season this is a guy that is a two-time NBA champion a two-time finals MVP who’s trying to be the most consistent he can be like a

Couple years ago this is a guy who tour his Achilles and now is back at Peak form so like okay I understand leadership it takes everyone not just KD not just Devon Booker who by the way on that starting five outside of those two the rest of the starting five only

Combined for 21 points Beal is integral and I keep saying that Beal missing this you know uh incoming season being able to practice with the guys that has been crucial because now he’s trying to learn learn this offense learn how to play with those two guys on the Fly more

Importantly I’m looking at this loss as they have the hardest Road moving forward uh not too long ago they were in the playoffs now they’re in the playin this loss made me feel old because right now we’re looking at a plan I know perk we’re looking at a plan that has LeBron

James Steph Curry and now Kevin Durant I’m like what’s going on with our gen our my I mean you and I no offense Wendy our all together she said it she said it somebody just had a birthday last week you just got older but here’s the thing

You mentioned it’s not just the hardest remaining schedule in the League this year right perk they have the hardest final 10 games of any team since the 2015 16 Memphis Grizzlies who that year had to play the 73 win Warriors twice and 67 win San Anton Spurs twice in that

Stretch you know what they went in that stretch CH one and nine they went one and nine and I wonder are the Suns lining up for the same fate and what would the ramifications of this incredibly expensive team be if they do fall to you know what you know what it’s

Not about the schedule it’s about being 30th in the league and offense and being the worst fourth quarter team in the league that’s what’s unacceptable and whatever happens to them at the end of this season will be a result of that of those failures not just a single game in

This run when you put it like that sure Phoenix Suns they have on their plate over these next couple of Games

  1. Any team deserves to lose dying by the 3 pointer instead of taking the 2.. new basketball is TRASH

  2. Definitely need LeBron to rest as much as possible coming into the play because he’s definitely going to lock in. I don’t see the Lakers winning tonight but I do see them winning the next five games.

  3. Suns are just not deep enough. Their big 3 have good stats, but it’s the rest of the team that is the issue. It’s the risk u take when u try to build a team with a big 3 design.

  4. Im a LeBron fan but dis is why i just can't put him over MJ. Ur team fIghting to get in the playoffs every win counts but u sitting out the Milwaukee game if anything u suppose to play dis game and sit out the Memphis smh

  5. Lebron not playing the Bucks??? But plays when playing bad teams??? The Bucks beating the Lakers tonight. The Suns will lose in the first round

  6. Honestly not mad at this. I’m going to my first lebron game next week vs the wizards and imma be mad af if he don’t play😂. This sounds like hopefully he’ll be able to play. Bad thing is it’s the 2nd night of a back to back so he still might sit😭

  7. MORE AND MORE EXCUSES FOR OVERRATED SUNS TEAM, WHO ONCE AGAIN WILL NOT, I REPEAT WILL NOT WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP AND YET AGAIN IT’LL BE ANOTHER YEAR THAT KD HASNT WON WITHOUT GSW.

  8. My Clippers are a joke but what else is new? Losers of 7 of their last 12 after a disappointing February going 5-5. Since losing to the Pelicans back on Feb 7, Clippers are 10-12. And to top it off, only 6-17 against the top 8 teams + Lakers.

    vs. Celtics = 1-1
    vs. Thunder = 1-2
    vs. Nuggets 1-2
    vs. Timberwolves = 1-3
    vs. Bucks = 0-2
    vs. Cavaliers = 0-1
    vs. Pelicans = 1-3
    vs. Lakers = 1-3
    Overall = 6-17

Clippers are going to end up 5th below the Pelicans and lose to them in 5 in the First Round. Watch another injury will happen if they don’t choke first. I guess all the money in the world + new arena, logo, and unis will never help this godforsaken franchise. The Chicago Cubs and the Von Erichs have better luck than the Clippers.

Perk said the Clippers have zero flaws and look what happened after that. Can this guy root/jinx the Lakers instead? Zero flaws? We can’t even beat Sacramento! Our only hope at even advancing is if we face Phoenix and Clippers might find a way to blow that one. We have lost to teams that the Lakers defeated a night or two before or after we faced them.

Farbod Esnaashari has tweeted we have gone 1-9 vs. winning teams since the break. He keeps hoping we will win a game that will turns things around but he’s starting to believe like me that the Clippers are who they are. They’re the Fakers. They can only beat bad teams and lose to good ones. Neither LA teams will do much in the playoffs if both get there. I don’t see OKC getting No. 1, so Lakers will face Denver.

I see no identity with these Clippers. No leadership. I see a lot of iso players trying to go 1-on-1 and that’s it. They’ll take a contested jumper and miss. Then they don’t have the size to get the rebound or protect the paint on the other side. And they turn it over a lot. Is Westbrick really going to save us when we were losing badly to good teams with him? Clippers are done. I got NOLA over us in 5. No injury excuses this time. We suck.

    1. Denver Nuggets
    2. Boston Celtics
    3. Milwaukee Bucks
    4. Minnesota Timberwolves
    5. Miami Heat

Paul Pierce looks to be correct. Denver and Boston are on a collision course to meet in the Finals. But Boston better NOT blow it this time against Miami like they did last year and they almost blew it in 2022.

  9. “Michael Jordan played against plumbers. He’s not even top 10.” 🤣

LeRoid Dames only defeated TikTokers, DoorDashers, YouTubers, podcasters, and YMCA players playing in Venice Beach jacking deep 3s. He’s not a top 1000. He needed to form a superteam in Miami to beat an old af Celtics team. 😂 And steroids to defeat all these 2010s/2020s losers looking at their phones and scrolling through their social media feeds all day.

TikTokers and DoorDashers are worse than plumbers. Plumbing is a real job and actually pays much better. So MJ played against Larry Plumber, Magic Plumber, Isiah Plumber, Clyde Plumber, Charles Plumber, Shaquille Plumber, and Kobe Plumber. No relation to Jake Plummer, Amanda Plummer, and the Mario Bros.

    1990s Plumbers –
    Hakeem Olajuwon
    Shaquille O’Neal
    Karl “The Plumber” Malone
    Charles Barkley
    Clyde Drexler
    David Robinson
    Patrick Ewing
    John Stockton
    Older Larry Bird
    Older Magic Johnson
    Older Isiah Thomas
    Older Kevin McHale
    Old af Robert Parish
    Old af Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
    Old af Julius Erving
    Old af Moses Malone
    Younger Kobe Bryant
    Younger Kevin Garnett
    Younger Allen Iverson
    Younger Ray Allen
    Younger Steve Nash
    Younger Tracy McGrady
    Younger Stephon Marbury
    Rookie Tim Duncan
    Penny Hardway in his prime
    Grant Hill in his prime
    Bernard King in his prime
    Dominique Wilkins
    Adrian Dantley
    James Worthy
    Chris Webber
    Gary Payton
    Shawn Kemp
    Reggie Miller
    Tim Hardaway
    Jason Kidd
    Alonzo Mourning
    Derrick Coleman
    Larry Johnson
    Kevin Johnson
    Dennis Rodman
    Joe Dumars
    Brad Daugherty
    Mark Price
    Dan Majerle
    Mitch Richmond
    Chris Mullin
    Detlef Shrempf
    Mark Jackson
    Jamal Mashburn
    Jim Jackson
    Jalen Rose
    Latrell Sprewell
    Allan Houston

MJ also schooled OJ Mayo at the age of 43 who can dribble with either hand as well as Kobe and Kyrie. As an old man, he dropped Vince from a crossover. It’s on YouTube. He went H2H against Kobe, T-Mac, and Pierce in some of those games. He dropped 40 with Kenyon Martin and Richard Jefferson guarding him. I guess all the NBA players from 1980s-2000s (THREE DECADES) were all plumbers then.

The Dream Teamers who MJ destroyed in that Monte Carlo scrimmage were all a bunch of plumbers. While that overrated 2008 Redeem Team which nobody watched that Netflix doc could barely handle Spain because they were too little. By the 00s, elite bigs went extinct.

Dwight Howard would not be a top 10 center in the 90s. Olajuwon, Shaq, Robinson, Ewing, Mourning, Mutombo, Daugherty, Parish, Sabonis, and Smits were all better. Then the 2006 FIBA team with LeBron, DWade, and Melo went lebronze like LeBron did in the Olympics in 2004. Team USA needed Kobe to redeem themselves.

Anthony Edwards will go down as the 2nd greatest player of all-time. He’s actually playing in a similar era as Jordan when bigs rule the league. He’s going to fly over Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, and AD like Jordan did to Shaq, Olajuwon, Ewing, Robinson, Mourning, and Mutombo.

Plumbers? That’s funny. Every star before 2000 were plumbers then. Those 00s stars like Duncan and Kobe couldn’t beat those Utah plumbers in 1998. Jazz went 4-1 against the Spurs and 4-0 against the Lakers. Kobe shot four airballs in 1997 while Jordan was winning a title for UNC at the same age. Kobe didn’t hit a game winner until Year 4. LeBron didn’t hit a memorable game winner until Year 6.

From 1992-1998 which includes playoff games, Jordan defeated Shaq 13-6. What did that Shaq Plumber do after MJ retired a second time in January 1999? Once Lakers got Phil, he went on a threepeat. Just like it wasn’t time for the 90s stars to win rings in the 80s, the 00s stars didn’t win in the 90s yet until the Bulls broke up.

I like how Jordan played against plumbers while an unathletic white boy named Austin Reaves gives problems to this new generation of mentally weak players. Giannis can’t even shoot as well as Olajuwon, Robinson, Ewing, and Mourning and he’s considered a top 2 player today.

Jordan is responsible for Kobe, Kawhi, KD, DWade, and Ant’s careers. But I guess he has no influence. Keep calling them plumbers. Your favorite player in your life will still never measure up to Jordan. They will always be looking up to him in stature. Crying memes and dumb Reddit posts will never negate his stature as the G.O.A.T.

How many of those greats did LeBron deny rings?

LeBron’s competition were a bunch of rats. Worse than plumbers. And he helped those rats win rings. LeBron’s teams have defeated the least amount of 50 to 60-win teams among the three. He did beat a 70-win team that MJ and Kobe didn’t.

Plumbers are superior to the social media losers, online influencers, and lame podcasters that LeBron has beaten in his entire career. Can’t wait when the LeSteroid scandal finally breaks the news after he retires. It will happen….

  11. Wait… LeBron's not gonna play against Bucks? I assure you if it was the Pistons he would play.

And you better bet he'll play against the Grizzlies 😅!
