Just wanted to ask you what kind of sparked you in that third quarter especially you guys kind of fighting back to get in the game but what sparked you in particular um I think you know at the Hat time we talking about never giving up you know and um uh we knew

That you know they made some tough shots we just knew that we got to continue continue to do our stuff and um and you know trusting our shots and um you know shots start falling in a third and um we got our confidence and then it was was

Just roll I mean it felt like everything we were doing was was going for us you know so um it was a really good moment and we just got to we just got to find a way to feel that way you know throughout the whole game and not just you know

Parts of the game you personally had that 80 run uh with the threes and then the dunk um what was that like to just be able to to contribute to this team in that type of way yeah I mean like I said when things are going well we were started knocking

Out shots and I felt more comfortable and um you know I got you know credit to my to the teammates you know they they F me open and I was able to knock down with some shots and um they just no ball and uh we were able to just keep going

Um you know and um I think what really helped was the second quarter when we kind of it was like down 30 and um you know the look The Game looked like it was going to slip away um but then you know we had a good end of the second

Quarter and we still give our S A Chance in the second half coach actually uh mentioned the fact that he didn’t tell you to pick up Tatum full court but you kind of did that on on your own what was uh your thought there and just kind of uh bringing that strong defensive

Presence I mean it was just making making things hard for him you know obviously he’s an amazing player so I just knew that I have to pick him up and um you know maybe by the end of the game he got a little bit of tired I don’t

Know you know just try the things because you know obviously I knew that if he got he he he got going early so um you know I just trying to pick him up and U make his life as hard as possible and um again I just know that um you

Know I’m going to earn minutes by playing defense so um you know just doing the little things and um yeah I’m I’m glad that the coach trust me to put me on a guy like titum so that that’s that’s mean that means a lot of me take

Us inside the locker room after a statement win like this how did it feel celebrating with your guys after this one uh it felt it felt amazing um I mean uh that’s that’s one of the most beautiful feelings in basketball you know especially after a game like that so um

We just got to find a way to feel like that after most of the games or after every game you know so U we just got to build on this it’s a big win for us um but you know we still got a couple couple more games home uh we got BOS we

Got Boston again and we know that they’re going to come out ready to play so um you know we got to take care of the Portland game and um and take care of the Boston game again so um I feel it can give us a good moment

Momentum talk about trust um just you know people look at this team they talk about who’s not here but the people who are here let talk about how this driven you guys yeah for sure I mean it’s a it’s a next-man mentality you know um we

Got a couple guys out but we still believe that with the roster we have right now we can compete with anybody um and I feel like that’s where when the the confidence come from you know we didn’t even when we were down what like 30 something we didn’t

Got scared we didn’t you know we just kept CH chipping away and um we were able to able to turn turn a game like that so um like I said we were very confident um we don’t think about who’s not here but you know we just got to

Make the best of who’s here and um I feel like we’ve been playing really well um and um we just got to continue doing that way and uh once the guys come back we’re going to be even better so yep you talk you talk about things sort of

Snowballing is that I think you after what that one of those three you kind of turned to the bench and gave the look like I can’t I was it almost unbelievable to you what yall were doing at that moment like like you said it was

Almost like I mean going in it was a it was a Snowball Effect you know like like I said it felt like everything was doing going well so um you know it was just that’s how I felt at the at the time so um yeah like I said before um this the

Think about when I where I was last year not playing and all that um is just feel amazing just to be on on a court you know so I’m enjoying every moment that I’m there I’m I’m I’m really grateful for every moment every second that I’m

On the floor I’m not not going to take it granted for granted because I know um at any second it can go away so um yeah I’m really glad that I’m able to play on team like this where you know people playing together um they trust in each

Other and we just continue fighting you mentioned you know last year and uh you know if you if you look at the last 12 months what what’s changed for you on the defensive end of the floor uh I think my time with uh with Skyhawk definitely helped you know that’s

They’re doing a really good job they being focus on defensive end and um that really helped me you know transition it from um uh from there from there to to the NBA and um you know like I said before I know the reason I’m playing is

Because of my defense not because of my offense um but um you know like I said they do a really good job on in the G League uh with Coach Ryan you know and he gave me a lot of confidence in that so um yeah I think it’s just being

Prepared and just keep working on it you know just being ready everybody’s talked a lot about uh the team working together uh and the excitement uh the crowd was really loud as you guys start getting closer and closer how big do was that as an impact

On your guys coming back in that second half yeah I mean the the crowd is our second SEC uh sixth player so um you know it’s always nice to to you know they they get us going too so um yeah we just we just need more games like this

You know more more more games where we playing like that the the crowd is engaged like that and um you know that just pushes us to to never give up how would you describe the difference between that first half and second half I mean you guys fell behind 30 pretty

Quickly and erased it in yeah um I think you know they knocked down so some tough shots early on we we couldn’t hit a shot um and uh but we felt like you know going to that timeout we felt like you know we were down I don’t know how much

We were down the first timeout but um you know we were still talking about like you know we were down but we didn’t felt like it was that bad you know just making shots we were you know not executing the best but we were executing

Well enough you know so um so it for us it was just keep going just keep uh keep chipping away um just you know we we had to we had to change a little bit the matchups um so I think that helped a little bit and um yeah I mean just never
