Like I thought it was important to understand that uh it’s a learning opportunity uh kind of you know creates a little bit of hunger a little bit of humility but at the same time time we got to just continue to work on uh the details on both ends of the floor and

Continue to develop good habits so it was the first time we’ve been out there on the court in a while I’ve been doing just a lot of walkthroughs a lot of fil so it was good to be out there said a couple times you have to

Work those things through uh and do the best you can uh to minimize those you know where is the balance is there a balance between Poise not overreacting but also having a sense of urgency in those situations um I mean I think the sense of urgency comes from like just

Your execution on both ends of the floor uh and so I think all those kind of play in together your sense of urgency and Poise should be connected um you should try to keep that as long as you can I think they’re all kind of you know intertwined into that how’s Drew doing

Habits than they have in their career and so there’s been very few moments um to where those habits uh have kind of let them down so to speak you know what I mean and uh so I think their growth and the habits that they’ve been building and really the recognition of

Every single possession on both ends of the floor has drastically improved because of the work that they put in so uh they’ve minimized those a ton and I think it’s just continuing to work at those and when they get into like a funk usually it’s pretty short Liv do they

Work with the positional coaches and they do film study for that or do you feel like it’s a lot of it just they kind of identify that on their own oh no it’s both it’s a little bit of everything like they identify it on their own they’re both great processors

They’re both uh very coachable guys so they spend a lot of time in the film room with their their positional coach and then it’s conversations like you know I’m not I don’t maybe uh in that particular moment Jaylen didn’t uh hear me or we we didn’t hear we got to be on

I have to be a better job to be on the same page but I you always got to know like you got to empower your best players to go make a play at the end of the game there’s nothing better than he does in StraightLine driving people in

Their matchup and I thought even some of the times when Matthews was pressuring Tatum needed less of a pick and roll and more ability space to just drive like we did against tumu in Chicago so it’s just constant conversation constant communication about where we can get better and what we’re doing well and
