Shooting Seasons the NBA this season you leave him over he’s going to hit threes that’s what he did torch Us in the first quarter well similar sort of story for this one Duce McBride uh nicknam Deuce but miles McBride is a very good three-point shooter in fact in 58 games
This season miles McBride has hit over 40% of his three-pointers so what did the Raptors do today for this game what did the Raptors decide to do here is Miles McBride by the way 58 games 40.6% shooting from three in those games very good three-point shooter well known across the NBA what
Did the Raptors do today well they wanted to Blitz Jaylen Brunson they wanted to send doubles immediately to Jaylen Brunson fine Brunson still scores 26 efficiently but that’s Brunson we have nobody to guard him what’s not fine is sending that double to Brunson by doubling off of Miles McBride not only
Doubling off off of Miles McBride doubling off of him on the strong side doubling off of him when he’s literally 5 feet away from Brunson who can just say hey you’re open here you go miles McBride hit a three-pointer on the first play of the game and had six in the
First quarter he was six of eight from three in the first quarter with 18 points you know if you’re going to double off miles McBride that’s stupid as a coaching staff coming up with a game plan for this game coming up with you know uh we’re going to lose but how
Much we going to lose by what we come with a game plan defensively doubling off of du McBride is [ __ ] stupid but what’s even worse even more idiotic idiotic what shows an even higher level of incompetency that has consistently been displayed over the course of the entire season for the Raptor
Specifically on the defensive end was the fact that he started the game three of four from three and then the next play you double off him again so you already made the mistake he made you pay for it no adjustment no okay you know what this guy this guy’s hitting his shots maybe
We ought to just stay on this guy a little bit and double off somebody else or even you’re going to double off him double off of him on the weak side not on the strong side but no whole quarter status quo keep keep de to the plan 18 first
Quarter points for Miles bride 45 first quarter points for the Dork Knicks again that actually equals a franchise record for most points allowed in a quarter in in the first quarter in franchise history but however that was the most points allowed by the Raptors in a first
Quarter in franchise history at home so again a little bit of a record there for this Toronto Raptors team so many records keep on happening for this team overall including the overall 44o loss uh yeah I don’t expect them to keep these games close but I I don’t think
It’s completely unrealistic for me to say they’re good enough to keep it within 40 maybe 40 like that’s a lot 40 [ __ ] points is a lot you lost the first quarter by 12 the second quarter by nine in the third quarter by 10 and the fourth quarter by 13 like at no point
Was it like anywhere close you got blown out in all four quarters of this basketball game Brunson goes 11 of 19 McBride goes 10 17 nine of 14 from three McBride finishes plus 40 on the night for his team in 40 minutes here precious tuua you let precious tuua get 19 points
And 13 rebounds including a poster late on Javon Freeman Liberty ju just just just just a disaster of a game here I understand look this is the this is the cast of players are working with Grady dick Freeman Liberty oaji G Keck a lot of bad a lot of bad Defenders
A bad Defender sitting next to Du McBride doesn’t let him shoot that many threes you can avoid that you know you’re doubling aggressively on Brunson hardenstein wide open in the lane can be avoided even with bad Defenders so it’s not like there’s Miss rotations it’s not like a guy is not handling his
Assignment what that’s that that’s stuff I don’t have a problem with you know the team’s not good Mi Mis rotation Miss like breakdown on defense I can understand all these things but when it’s a calculated decision by the coaching staff that they wanted to see executed it’s it’s it’s a conscious decision to
Double off miles McBride that is so stupid how do they not see that that this is the sort of incompetence that I cannot stand with this team that we have been dealing dealing with all throughout the season and it’s it’s obviously showcased even further by the fact that
There’s no Talent whatsoever on this group to bail them out and I get that but like these sort of decisions bring me back to like like the team sucks they don’t have a lot to work with when they do have something to work with I don’t

Goes five of 10 with 15 points K Lin continues to put up numbers Trent continues to display some decent numbers as well Freeman Liberty was a positive game as well but yeah this game stunk um again you come to expect these sort of things but I would have liked like
Maybe a little bit more resistance defensively but we uh of course did not get that unfortunately the Grizzlies are getting blown out by the Lakers at this present moment so the Raptors will only stay one game back of the Memphis Grizzlies therefore one game up in the
Overall tank race we’re battling and uh looking at their upcoming schedule again you know you I say every every postgame show you don’t know where those wins are going to come from possibility Raptors do lose out in games like today when you lose by 44 points
145 to 101 it does remind you that yeah this team may not win again this season but at least we scored more than 90 we didn’t do that in the last game against the Brooklyn Nets but more history made by this Raptor team so there you go
