Only matchups I’d reaaaally like to avoid are LAL and NOLA, size wise. Minnesota close third but seems like we have some wiggle room without KAT. Clippers only to give them a shot. Denver obviously is still the top dog.
Granted it will still be much more impressive if we get to the WCF and get swept by Denver like LAL did last year, than losing earlier

Ultimately, every playoff series will be tough and it’s going to be a fight game in and game out. Doesn’t matter who we’re up against. That being said, I’d rather end up in a position where we face Denver last as they are the West’s biggest challenge.
Minnesota would be a good second round matchup, an extended rematch from last year’s play-in tournament.

I actually think that pelicans or clippers in the first round is almost best case scenario here. Still tough but manageable. We all know harden won’t show up in the playoffs.

I think the Pels are the match up i’m the least worried about. I dont want the Mavs, Luka Kyrie in PO situation, also Gaford can really hurt us.

If all of us Thunder fans want to be honest. It’s all gravy from this point on. I was hoping for a 6 seed before the season started, so it’s whatever now. So proud of our younglings and what the future holds, will be a fun ride. THUNDER UP MOFO’S.

I fear Luka the same way I fear the Lakers and Nuggets: in a single game? Fine. In a 7 Game series? No thank you. Luka has the offensive capability to overcome the Dorture Chamber. I’m not too keen on getting locked in a series with that level of offensive threat. Give me what’s left of the Suns, or Steph and his island of misfit maniacs in Round 1 please.

Honestly, at this point, I don’t think playoff seeding is extremely important for us. The general consensus among fans of even lower seeded teams is that they want the Thunder in the first round due to inexperience. The West is so tight that there isn’t going to be an easy series for any team, so I think we shouldn’t get caught up in who we’re playing in the first round and just take it in stride.
That said, my preference would be to not play the Lakers or the Mavs in the first round. They’ve proven they can give us trouble.
