Interesting they say they have the money but are waiting for league approval from their added partners. Will come down to arbitration it seems and if the agreement stipulates whether they can go past the deadline pending league approval.

Good I hope they fight for this. FREE US FROM GLEN

A lot of time given for buyer’s remorse because of that layaway structure.

  6. This is tragic because, at the very least, this sours attitudes. Either Arod and Lore find some miraculous way to buy the team ASAP (doesn’t seem likely because Glen will probably jack the price to fit its value and not screw himself out of a much bigger profit) or Glen just keeps the team, Arod and Lore get pissed, sell their stake (probably for a profit) and move on.

All the good work they have put in the last two years, cultivating relationships, putting this franchise together, and making key hires, will dwindle fast. You think everyone they brought in or made plans with will be happy to see them go? You think all the players will be confident to see them go? You think Glen will be able to keep the energy they brought in? Nope, we lose all of that.

Now we have to find new owners and who knows how the hell they will be. And like most new owners, I am sure they will want to leave THEIR MARK on their new franchise and that means we will for sure see some big changes. They will want their guys running things.

Until Connelly or Finch get kicked to the curb I do not care about ownership.

This team is moving forward regardless of who the owner is because those two are great at what they do and the team will follow. Nothing is going to bring down what the FO/Coaches/Players/auxiliary staff have accomplished thus far!

So essentially he saw Ant’s dunk in Utah and was like I change my mind

I just hope they are all able to feed their families after these tribulations.

Anyone know how long the arbitration could take?

If we needed any more proof Glen Taylor Is the biggest bafoon of all the NBA owners this just sealed the deal.

Taylor’s 82. What’s with rich old birches being greedy. The team took it up a notch after Aaron and Marc came into the picture. Not saying they’re the main reason but why fuck with the flow.

Will be interesting to see what exactly happened here. The complete truth is probably undiscoverable to us until the contract becomes public or unless a party breaches confidentiality. Hard to believe that Arod and Lore couldn’t secure financing given how much the franchise has allegedly appreciated since the deal was struck. Perhaps there were some detailed contingencies/conditions in the contract they weren’t able to meet. Would love to get my hands on it and try to unravel this mystery.

  15. I walk into Lexus of Wayzata and buy the most expensive one. Can’t make the payments. Car repossessed. Seller’s remorse.

Duuuuuh Jon, Glen doesn’t control the media anymore, stop pandering. You have made connections that will give you better intel that a moldy clown.
