At the referee you are I mean what are we talking about it’s just insane all right here’s my reaction I mean look obviously what Draymond did is terrible and selfish and indefensible selfish is a great word it absolutely selfish and he may not look at that I’m

Compe no it’s selfish all right but let me say this first before I get to Draymond Steph Curry his reaction we all know how great Steph is but in terms of competitiveness you’ve kind of got two guys may I’m missing somebody but people think of Jordan and

Kobe and magic and bir like these guys that part of their Legend is how much they wanted to win right step ste’s never been in that grouping not that he’s not competitive everybody obviously knows he’s competitive but he hasn’t been in that grouping seeing this it

Really kind of made me a guy that’s covered his whole career and been at a lot of ton of his biggest biggest games go like man like this dude wants it cuz they’re not fighting to get it’s not a Finals game yeah they’re fighting to get

In the play in all right the 10 seed and he wants it that badly so to me I don’t know if he was crying or not I mean I’ve known guys that when they get angry they cry right so whatever it was Wild’s about to cry right

Now a lot yeah so I to me this was like it it it was you know it was a revelation to me like oh this dude is is really at that highest level competitive wise as far as Draymond again there’s not that much needs to be said about his

Foolishness all right he got mad that Kevin Durant and youf implied that he needed some mental help right and he he said they questioned his character I I I don’t know they were questioning his character they were just saying he needs some help but he took

Umage with that and when you people that need mental help can’t control their emotions enough to function in normal society right and this is right now Draymond has not been able to control himself enough to function in a normal basketball game so if he doesn’t feel

Like he needs mental help I’m not saying he does but just go out there and show it all right but as I got to say this cuz Draymond obviously is most to blame but the Warriors and this is I’m not the first to say this the Warriors have some

Culpability here all right they have enabled him for years and maybe you’ve even said this n they have enabled him for years to get away with this foolishness most recently I mean obviously there was stuff this year but the pun when you punched out Jordan pool

And he doesn’t even get suspended no and then they pay Draymond and they get rid of Draymond they gave him 100 million after that so I’m just saying the Warriors have a lot to do with this because they’ve enabled him year after year Time After Time Wild do you want to go oh

Well here’s the thing and I’ve heard a lot of takes one of the knee-jerk reaction takes is Draymond is not worth it when does Raymond uh go from helping the team to hurting the team the answer is not anytime soon he is awesome and he works for the Warriors and when he plays

With the Warriors they win games and the stats bear it out when he plays a full game The Warriors are 26 and 17 when he gets ejected they’re one and three and when he doesn’t play whether suspended or for whatever reason the Warriors are 11 and 14 so any narrative unless you be

Rude unless you that’s your but any narrative that’s like oh man he’s not worth the hassle he 100% is and in this strange conflict where it’s like how inflammable and and INF flammable mean the same thing he is at the same time the most unselfish teen guy when he’s on the

Court he’s talking about his style of play style of play is unself doesn’t need any Glory he’ll he’ll grab he’ll pass up open shot he’ll get in the trenches he’ll do it all that contributes to winning except when he does the exact opposite but I don’t it

Doesn’t make logical sense to me that people say you know what uh he he need the they the Warriors need to move on because they need him and he’s not available let me that wasn’t my take but let me explain how that could potentially make sense let’s just for

Again because I’m doing this on the Fly you’re Steph you’re a healthy clay I’m Draymond all right you know what I mean this is the whatever it is um I understand but let’s just just let’s just let’s just go with it um Show’s obviously better with all three of us MH

But if once every couple of weeks I showed up drunk and Midway through the show or right before the show you guys had to be like Nick you can’t be on the air today and that show Tanked you couldn’t then be like well look at how valuable Nick is the shows are great

When he’s there and they’re awful when he’s not there you might say yeah it we’d love good Nick but drunk Nick has become such a problem that we need to see what it would look like if we weren’t relying on you at all if we just knew you weren’t going to be here

Someone else was going to be here and the team would be different so like what if the quality of the show dropped like what if it was great at one point we’re winning Awards sure we’ll put up with it but now just a pretty good showly right yeah there’s that’s what the Warriors

Are right now not we’re not even as a rocket show like right okay the so so that’s in response to that but my initial reaction to this is somebody tweeted it and they were right and I wish I could give them credit uh they were like the Warriors talk about

Draymond the way people talk about their cousin his seventh or eighth time he’s gone to jail like yeah probably deserve it we’re sad we’re rooting for him but it’s what we expect they’re not defending him Kerr is not defending him Steph’s not defending him they are and I

Think Steph’s thing was less compe I I don’t I think Steph is super competitive but I think it was less about like this is oh now we might lose this game and more about Jesus man this is just my basketball life now this is just yes

Disagree with this is that this is what I am it was was me clay and Draymond clay through no fault of his own is not the same guy Draymond with age has gotten more erratic MH and this is what the rest of my career is going to look

Like it is going to be on an average mediocre team with a guy who I cannot rely to make it to the first TV timeout he was enraged about a foul caught on a teammate that he got a technical for totally warranted they could have given

Him a second and a third let it all go and then Draymond wanted to get thrown out I don’t care what he says there he want he didn’t even react to getting thrown out he was already walking towards the lock he wasn’t shocked a lot of his objections he’s like you know and

The reason selfish was such a good word is what did we just hear from Steve Kerr the last time the Warriors lost when they were like hey why didn’t you play Steph more minutes he was like listen oh yeah the weight of the franchise been all sets back for 15 years Draymond you

Know how I know he knows the Orlando’s on a back toback and it’s tough because he opened his podcast talking about how it’s there on a back toback every year all this stuff you’re on a backto back in a must-win game and four minutes in you’re out of there and now Steph’s got

To play 35 minutes and bail your ass out again just to stay just to stay afloat like it is I I look at at brew as someone who Draymond is always been erratic and he’s always been volatile but the insanity of the actions is ratcheting up the most violent things we

Have seen him do have all occurred in the last 18 months himed to kick guy yeah but it wasn’t it wasn’t stuff that could actually H really hurt people you know what I mean the punch and the nerkish thing could really have hurt people I think the sabonis stomp could

And the goar thing couldn’t hurt you really it was just weird and being ejected 3 minutes into a this is ratcheted up volatility and so I just I well it’s getting to a point I mean you mentioned sabonis and the things he’s done that really could have hurt

Guys I I hope this doesn’t happen I’m not predicting it would happen but this seems to be like a situation that let’s say something did happen let’s say he stomped on another player’s chest like that and really hurting and then the NBA and everyone Associated is saying

Why didn’t we do all of us everybody on talk shows would be killing the NBA saying why didn’t you do something you saw this coming and all you did was give him little slaps on the wrist or nothing at all in the turn in in the case of

Jordan P so just all right so let’s go big picture warriors did get the win uh without kaminga who didn’t play so I think that’s why Steph had to uh shoulder extra responsibility or Draymond Steph only had 17 but it was enough to say good night to the magic

Tails um so we’ll go with the future Nick what should the Warriors do if they miss the play offs even though they also might miss the plane in well I listen I think this is about this is less about what the Warriors should do and more about Steph Curry should do and it’s

Whether or not they miss the play in make the play in Miss the playoffs whatever it is beating the first what what it’s all the same in in in large part Brew if I said to you I figured out my retirement plans I’m going to move back to my

At all is not just the podcast where he treated this as something less important than talking about Haywood heith but more important than talking about tar een which I know we will but Draymond in the tunnel after the game was shocking to me like like nothing happened him him

Really am not trying to be unfair and it is so weird because the point you’re making about Draymond on the court and his Effectiveness still as a player are valid and Draymond off the court outside of basketball so many people that I love and respect love that man oh yeah talk

About what a great guy is such a we like when he’s totally unrelated to basketball everyone loves him when it’s just basketball everyone loves him and he’s super valuable It’s the weird like when he’s on the court but not doing basketball stuff he’s just a maniac you
